The stork is also present. One finds here rest, forest, mounts and waters like lake Balaton and the Danube. Ancient cities and picturesque villages. You can go walking, cycling, horseback riding, fish, swim, play golf, basketball, tennis and bowl. People are friendly, welcoming and love to chat. One speaks reasonable German and the young people a little English. There is lots to do in the area. In Bikal, two kilometres further on is a castle with excellent restaurant, sport facilities and relaxation in the spa. Nearly all villages in the area have good restaurants. For the more wide choice one has been designated on Komlo, Bonyhad, Dombovar and Pecs. Of course a visit to Budapest is a must. Here one finds excellent restaurants, cafes, terraces and health spa's like Gellyert hotel. Budapest, sometimes called Paris of the east, is rich with old buildings. Description:Our home is soothing, comfortable, gently bright with natural light. Three bedrooms, open-plan living buses are available from a couple of different stops nearby (the closest is 1 block away). You'll have 3 bedrooms, plus a 72 couch, to sleep 7 people. Beds are a king size, full size, and two twin beds. If you have more bodies than we have beds, additional bedding can be arranged. Full kitchen and living room are together, tranquilly painted with 'lazure' technique. Yellow stained concrete floors it's like walking on sunshine. There is a piano. Outside, a firebowl and outdoor sitting space, trampoline. Wireless internet and internet capable BluRay DVD with Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, etc. (No cable TV). CACH you can sample, select your favorite and sit to drink it. Great, peaceful atmosphere. This is a friendly neighborhood. There is a great mix of folks from longtime residents to new, young urbanites. There are three urban organic farms within a quarter mile radius -- Boggy Creek Farm (adjacent to my back yard) Springdale Farm, and HausBar Farm. Right across the street is an elementary school with shaded basketball court, walking/running track (available when school is out, ie afternoons, evenings and weekends), large playscapes, fields. You will see families, people walking dogs, neighbors playing pick-up soccer they have most things you will want or need, including a selection of wines 5 mi to Zilker Park (all but 1 mi accessible by bike along the river trail) 5 mi to the airport ($15 cab).
