Agriturismo Vernianello offers various sized apartments and rooms. Agriturismo Vernianello is situated 5km from Poggibonsi, a small town, which offers everything you will need to make your holiday complete, like supermarkets, an open-market, chemists, post office, banks, hospital. The apartment has been totally restyled recently with particular detailed attention in respect to the typical Tuscan style. Apartment has an independent entry and private area or table outside. Bathrooms have been restructured in winter 2006 and all have sink, toilette, bidet and shower cabin. Family with children are welcome, there are a lots of entertainment for the little guests. Ideal also for couples and for those who desire to live a real experience in a Tuscan farmhouse. Electricity, gas, water, final cleanings included in price. Heating to consumption. Description:The house is a small Fishermans House which is situated about 10 minutes walk away from the town centre and about 15 - 20 minutes away from the beach. At the end of the road is a Dutch bakery ideal for fresh bread for breakfast. The house comfortably accommodates four to six people. It contains a small but well equipped kitchen with washing machine and microwave which leads into a comfortable lounge with CD Stereo, TV, Video with a selection of videos and small dining area. From the lounge is a nice veranda which overlooks the canal. The veranda is equipped with a table, chairs, barbecue and sun blind. Upstairs consists of one double room and one twin room with a shower room in between. A double bed is located in the lounge area. At the front of the house is room to park a car. Along with the house is a small pier available for use. Fishing rods, books and board games are kept at the house for your use. A cot is also available on request. Description:The upper floor is typically Spanish styled, with open plan living and very high beamed ceilings. The furnishings are contemporary and provide a real home from home with seating and dining for eight people. The raised breakfast area seats eight, and overlooks the fully fitted German kitchen. A new gas hob, electric oven and washing machine have been fitted this year. In addition the kitchen provides a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, bread-maker, paella/pizza pan, toaster and ice cream maker are provided . The three bedrooms have all have comfortable beds, modern glass fronted wardrobes and ample storage space. There are two shower rooms upstairs, an indoor family one and a private hot and cold outdoor shower room outside next to the pool. The large glazed Naya gives an addition living space for the whole family to relax. It is a lovely area to cool down after a swim. The Costa Blanca has wonderful clear skies and starry nights and sitting on the Naya is a truly wonderful experience as the night time views are very impressive. Alfresco dining can be enjoyed in the shady courtyard or on the terraces or informally on the Naya so there is somewhere to sit comfortably whatever the weather and still enjoy the views . Guests are welcome to pick from the fruiting trees, lemons, figs and medlar plums (Nisparros) to enjoy home-made lemonade or a slice in a G&T. The lower floor boasts a completely self contained apartment, which is ideal for larger groups, maybe to accommodate grandparents, young couples or even teenagers. The apartment is never let separately and is only available in addition to the main house. The apartment has a comfortable L-shaped open plan lounge, dining and kitchen areas, a very large bedroom which has an English double divan bed, a shower room and a small alfresco seating area. There is a comfortable full sized double sofa bed in the sitting room. The small kitchen is equipped with electric hob, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. There is a separate Sky Freesat connection in the apartment, a Cd player and radio. The house is safe for children as the garden and rear courtyard are totally enclosed. The pool area can be shut off from the garden and house which is an important point to consider if there are young children in the party. Freesat through Sky allows a good choice of English speaking programmes, guests are welcome to bring along their own skycard to enjoy even more programmes. Coolboxes and thermos flasks are provided, so take advantage of these and enjoy the age old Spanish pastime of picnicking on the beach, on the wonderful mountains or in the countryside. A selection of board games, drawing materials, DVDs and play things are available in the casa for the children. Beach and pool playthings are also provided but please note that they are subject to the usual wear and tear but are often suplemented by guests over the holiday period. I do not guarentee that all inflatable toys are not punctured! The doors and windows are fitted with security grills, mosquito screens, and in addition, the bedrooms have metal night shutters, and quiet fans. For guests staying during the winter months there is a superb wood burning stove and underfloor central heating. In addition there are marble slab heaters which provide additional heat and a portable gas heater for the Naya area. Further details outdoors: The private south facing solar heated, pool provides real luxury. The solar heated water is some six degrees hotter than the surrounding ambiant temperature which allows for a longer swimming season. Usually from April to late October but this does depend of the weather as rain cools the pool. The pool is gated and can be totally shut off from the house and garden and is graduated in depth from 3ft to 7ft. There are new extra long steps which reach to the bottom of the shallow end. The house is safe for children as the garden and rear courtyard are totally enclosed. The mature trees also give good shade and privacy. There are several bars, which provide snacks and menu del dia and restauants on the Monte Pego development, all between 1km to 3km from the Casa. In addition there is a indoor heated pool, a beauty therapy studio and an art gallery. Monte Pego has its own tennis courts and paddel (short tennis) courts, petanc and bowls areas. On Saturday evenings in the summer, the Monte Pego restaurant organises fantastic outdoor BBQs with Live music and dancing, an event not to be missed as the food, is out of this world. The Bella Vista club has many evenings of entertainment, and both bars broadcast sports fixtures in English. Within a short drive, are many unspoilt villages all having their own unique markets or rastros. The holiday maker is really spoilt for choice as the nearest blue flag beach is only 10 mins away travelling through the orange groves and paddy fields. This part of the Costa Blanca is well known for its miles and miles of safe, golden sandy beaches and quiet private coves, all within a short drive away. Children can have great fun exploring the winding paths through the trees in the rear garden which has over 100 protected indigenous palms. Further details Usually swimming is comfortably warm being some six degrees hotter than the ambient temperature, often swimming can begin from the beginning of April to the end of October, and sometimes even into November. A welcome pack or additional grocery shopping can be arranged with the owner, It is so much nicer to relax after your long journey without worrying about your shopping. Description:La Fermette is a traditional Normandy colombage cottage, built over 200 years ago. It was renovated and restored by us in 1997 and we have been successfully letting for the last twelve years. The house is heavily beamed inside, comfortably accommodates 6 people, and benefits from double-glazing. It faces south, stands in approx 1 ½ acres of enclosed garden with mature trees, and sits on the top of a slight hill, opposite the Forest DEawy. Lawns are laid to the front, rear and sides of the house and the sloping meadow land gives children ample room to play safely. The house has been decorated throughout in bright cheerful colours to enhance the holiday mood. All the soft furnishings, mattresses and paint work are renewed regularly to keep the cottage comfortable and fresh for all our guests. Garden chairs and tables, sun loungers, barbecue and outside lighting, give the opportunity to enjoy the warm evenings in early Spring and late Autumn. Inside Downstairs Front door leads directly into the kitchen/breakfast room, which has been completely fitted out with Italian tiled work surfaces, with cupboards above and below, and finished in American Oak. Dishwasher fitted under worktop. Fitted self-cleaning electric oven/grill, with four-ring electric hob, and extractor fan above. Microwave oven. Electric kettle and toaster. Free standing larder fridge with portable radio/cd player on top.. Window above double sink, with views of front garden and forest. Large breakfast table (for 6). Free standing baguette box. The cupboards contain 12 place settings in classic white china, ample cutlery, and cooking pans and utensils. Tea towels and oven gloves are provided - even a plastic apron! To the rear of the kitchen a door leads through to the shower room with fully tiled shower cubicle and wash basin, a separate WC, and a cloakroom/utility area. The cloakroom contains a large fridge freezer, and ample hooks for coats. From the cloakroom, another door leads to the sun lounge which is equipped with garden table and six chairs. Also a folding table tennis table. (Bats and balls are provided) The kitchen leads into the lounge/dining room. The lounge has a large fireplace, with attractive wood burning stove for lovely log fires. There are two settees, two armchairs, coffee table and satellite TV with English programmes. A DVD/CD player is provided with a good selection of films and music CDs. A window over looks the front garden. Stairs to the side of the fireplace lead up to the double bedroom. A telephone is provided for incoming calls. A separate arrangement can be made to allow guests to make outgoing calls. . A beamed division leads into the dining room. The large table will seat 8. A door opens into the front garden, and the windows here face the front and side. There is a large sideboard with glazed top cupboards, and drawers and cupboards beneath, and a small cane armchair. Plenty of wall lights in both the lounge and dining room, to create desired atmosphere. To the rear of the lounge, is another beamed division. Our library nook! This has french windows leading to the patio and rear garden. There is a large book case with over 100 English books, cane chairs, desk, lamp and rug. At one end a staircase leads up to two bedrooms and a bathroom. At the very end is a door leading to the laundry/store room. The laundry/store room contains a washing machine, drying lines, airer, ironing board, iron, etc. The fuse box is also in here, together with the water cylinder. A door leads out to the side of the house and a drying area. Window overlooking rear garden. Upstairs The main staircase leads up to a small landing with fitted cupboards. To the left is a tiled bathroom, with WC, wash basin, fitted bath and hand held shower over. Window overlooking rear garden. Three towels per person are provided ( bath sheet, bath towel, hand towel.) together with bath and pedestal mats. Three guest towels are also provided - one for the kitchen, bathroom, and shower room. From the landing to the right, a door leads into bedroom one. This has twin beds with good quality sprung mattresses. A double pedestal dressing table with drawer space and mirror over, small stool, two bedside tables with lamps, and a wardrobe. Laundry basket, waste paper basket, and towel stand. There is a small cane settee. Twin beds have mattress covers, duvets, and two pillows each. (All bed linen is provided, with beds freshly made for your arrival.) A window over looks the front. Fitted carpet. Bedroom two is also accessed off the landing and is identical to bedroom one, but has a fitted wardrobe instead of free standing. A double chest of drawers, with mirror over replaces the dressing table. Fitted carpet. The double bedroom is above the kitchen, accessed by a separate staircase. It has a large window overlooking the side garden and forest. Fitted carpet. All three bedrooms contain courtesy trollies - containing electric kettle, cups and sauces and a supply of tea/coffee/hot chocolate.
