CONFERENCE Brand offers various seminar rooms in hotels, the community centre, the old sawmill, the riding hall and the tennis hall for your conference. These can all be equipped with the latest infrastructure, and we are able to create a unique atmosphere for your event. All venues are within a short walking distance of each other. Alternatively, you can hold your conference out in the open, right in the centre of the skiing area with its unrivalled scenery. Fresh mountain air during the coffee breaks or an outdoor activity are highly motivating. Depending on the other items on your programme, which is customized to fit your needs, you might like to choose a sports or a team-building activity to complement your conference. ACTIVITIES A skiing area on your doorstep, the golf course in the garden, tennis, horse-riding and outdoor adventures – this sports arena in Vorarlberg’s south offers the ideal setting for implementing your event ideas, both in winter and in summer. On Snow Fun Day participants meet in the skiing area to go golfing in the snow, to race against each other on traditional wooden sledges or on the ski slopes, or to complete an obstacle course, which includes archery, wearing trekking snowshoes and using old-fashioned sports equipment. Description:Small self-contained 2nd-floor studio flat overlooking the river in the sought-after Koregaon Park district of Pune. Cool and spacious-feeling, with plenty of natural light from the huge north-facing window that runs along the entire front of the room. Furnishing is simple and 'bohemian' style - very large mattress on the floor, desk table, long window seat, open clothes hanging rail. Facilities include fridge, gas ring, Aquaguard water filtering system, solar-heated water for showering, well-equipped small kitchen area. The special joy of the flat is its long window seat, providing a perfect perch from which to look out and watch a wide swathe of contemporary and timeless Indian life passing by, or gaze upwards into the canopy of the large tree outside, and across towards the river. The compact yet simple, uncrowded nature of the living space also makes it easy and relaxing to live in. An extra treat are the colourful works of art that adorn some of the walls - prints of my own hand-painted mandalas. Internet access is via portable internet stick - usually very reliable and pretty fast, too, although you won't be able to stream movies, and video sometimes pixellates. You charge up the balance yourself from the local agent. There is a good small sound system in the flat, which you can hook up to your laptop or mp3 player. There is space in the yard around the house to park motorbikes and scooters, while a small car can be parked in the street outside without difficulty. The flat is situated about half a mile from the Osho International resort, a pleasant walk along local lanes, Everything needed for daily living can be found a short walk away, and almost anything else, a short rickshaw ride away. Koregaon Park is a lively upmarket district of Pune, with a number of good restaurants and western facilities, such as fitness centres and health spas, as well as several fancy western-style patisseries and delicatessens. The jungly banyan-tree-lined streets of the main park make excellent, quiet places for walking and jogging. Pune is an increasingly westernised city, with a bustling market quarter and a number of western-style shopping malls with western franchises. It is within easy reach of Mumbai (three-four hours by road or rail), and the hill stations of Mahabaleshwar, Materan and Lonavala. It is connected by rail to many other Indian cities.
