Description:Our family style hostel is located in an apartment with 3 floors and 6 rooms, it’s tiny, but that’s how people get closer and become friends. Even you are a solo traveler, you will quickly find yourself a home in Chengdu, with friends and family. You can live exactly like when you were in your own country. Every morning cook food yourself, eat with lots of friends, and when you have some difficulty, there are always people who are ready to help you out. Our hostel has only 6 rooms with 3 bathrooms, tiny but cozy, like a home. There's also mini library and movie theatre, you can alsotake here as your private café bar. And we provide 3 types of room. All kinds of restaurant and bars around, 5 minutes by walking can go to Carrefour supermarket and KFC, 10 minutes to movie cinema, 2 stops bus to IKEA market which lots of young people like, 15 minutes walking to subway station. (It’s bit far but affordable), 20 minutes walking to U.S. Consulate, if you take taxi its 8 9 RMB. All room rates quoted here include utility fees. Directions: From airport: Bus: Take bus line 300, get off from “ south railways station west road” , 750 metres walking to No. 62, xin guang road, it’s about 70 mins all together. Taxi: 35 45 from airport, 30 mins. From railway station: Metr Take line 1 and get off at “ tong zi lin”, take exit B, find “ tong zi lin middle road” , walk along it till the end of the road , you will see No. 62 xin guang road on the other side of the raod, it’s about 20 min on the metro and 15 mins walking. Taxi: 30 RMB to No. 62 , xin guang raod, 20 30 mins driving. From south railway station: Bus: take bus line 76, get off at “ tong zi lin xiaoqu”, then you will see “Parrot coffee”, besides the café there’s gate , get inside and find Room 308, block 3, building 3. Taxi: 2 km, 8 9 RMB, 10 mins driving. From “ chun xi road”, the shopping centre of chengdu: Bus: walk to “hong xing 4th road, take bus line 76, get off at “tong zi lin xiao qu”. You can enjoy a great view: Sunset on the Statue of Liberty and view on Downtown Manhattan. The apt is the entire 3rd and last floor of classic Brooklyn brownstone. There is only 2 apartments in the building, including this one. The building is old and not fancy at all, but the apartment is very nice and well maintained. The entire place has been completely renovated February 2012, after previous guests trashed it, which lead to complety redo the place and impose stricter house rules. Description:Hey travelers! Thanks for checking us out! We have a huge 800 sq ft 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment in the middle of Downtown Berkeley. The location simply cannot be beat (corner of MLK and University) - a five minute (or less) walk to BART, movie theatres, gyms, bars, and Cal! The place itself is sort of funky - sits nicely on top of a sushi restaurant and has super high ceilings. Inside you'll find a huge living room stacked with two large couches (one large enough to sleep on) and a gigantic flat screen tv. Help yourself to unlimited cable, dvds and books galore! The kitchen and bedroom are set away from the living room so you can be loud in one room without disturbing the other. The bedroom is furnished with a full size bed and plenty of floor space for a blow up mattress or for people who just really love sleeping on the floor. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything people need in kitchens. We have an electric stove :( but we make up for it with our incredible kitchen aid mixer. Bake away! This apartment is is clean, safe, and in a fabulous location. It may not be the fanciest thing out there - but you really can't beat the price (which could potentially be negotiable). We have two weeks free in August (8th-22) where you can rent the whole house from us. Otherwise we can rent out the couch to individuals for $20-30 a night. In which case, it's important to note that Heather and I are super awesome/boring young humans who work all the time, but smile just as much. Sorry, dudes, no smoking. Thanks for reading!
