Description:Need a break in paradise? A hide out from northern winter and schedules? Come to our cozy beach house near Fortaleza, Brazil, were the sun is always shining! The house is placed on a little hill, overlooking the beaches of the small village, REDONDA. It has approximately 70 m2 and has one suite and an additional bedroom, a living room, kitchen, the suite´s bathroom and a big and gorgeous garden. The suite has a very big and comfortable double bed, from which you can see the beach through your bedroom window. There is also a wardrobe and a desk for books or your stuff. Its connected with the bathroom. The second room will be a suite also, but at the moment it is still lacking its own bathroom. It has a double mattress, where two people can sleep. The living room and the kitchen are united by a bar table. Its furnished with a sofa, that can be used as sleeping sofa for one person, many paintings of the owners artists friends, books, an ipod docking station and a guitar. Swing doors open the living room to the garden. You enjoy a fully equipped kitchen to create delicious food from the fresh ingredients you get in the village and from the garden, which has a vegetable plot and many typical brazilian fruit trees, as coconut trees for example. Just go out and pick your breakfast from the tree (or have it made by the family who takes care of the house and the guests) The kitchen is an industrial kitchen, you find an electric stove and oven, coffee machine, blender, ice cream machine, and of course all things, like plates and dishes, that you will need. In the garden you have a barbecue place to grill you fresh fish that was captured in the morning by the fisherman of the village. In the living and kitchen you have of course also places to sit, but the big table is placed in the garden. It has space for 6 people to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. In the gorgeous garden you will find two hammocks, the big table, the barbecue, the plot, coconut trees and many other plants and flowers. Typically for the region next to the beach the ground is of sand, not of grass. You overwatch the whole Bay, while lying in the hammock. As traditional in Brazil you will get certain services, when you are a guest of the house. For a fee of aprox. 150 reales you can have an airport shuttle service, the caretaker of the house will pick you up at the international airport in Fortaleza and of course will bring you to your flight when you are leaving again. Typical brazilian breakfast will be made for you in the morning, its a variation of different fruits, some cheese and brioche, typical brazilian wheat bread and possibly some sweets. You also can order the day before if you want something specific on your table. The housekeeper will of course go and shop for the breakfast, you just leave them some small money, around 3 dollars. Try the brazilian cheeses, its basically fresh and white cheese, but unique in its flavours. Also the fruit of garden and region is delicious, avocados, papayas and mangos are huge, mature and sweet. The housekeepers also will occupy themselves with the housecleaning and the maintainment of the garden. They will also wash the linen and towels, if you need your cloths washed, of course they will take care of it for you, for small money. The housekeeper family are fishermans themselves, you also can get fresh seafood from them. In general food is very fresh, delicious and very cheap. You can feast as a king for almost no money at all. Activities in the village: As the village is a very small one and quite disconnected from international turism, its quite left in its original way of being. You can go and have some ice cream, enjoy the great seafood restaurants and have gambas, shrimps, lobsters, crawfish... to very cheap prices. In the weekends there is a beach night club that opens for the local population to enjoy some samba and latin music and have a caipirinha with friends while watching the stars. You can also do all sorts of nature activities and sports like surfing, swimming, diving, paragliding... You can do boat-trips with the local fishermen, or wandering through the dunes and visit the neighbor villages. If yo want to go shopping or visit a bigger town, you can take a bus and go to CANOA QUEBRADA, where you find tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, sports activities and all kinds of fun things to do. Transport: To move around in the area, or to come to the house you dont necessarily need to get a car. You get picked up and brought to the airport. In Redonda you can move by walking or take the buses to the other villages or to Canoa Quebrada. FORTALEZA: Fortaleza is the biggest city in the northestern part of Brazil. Its located right under the equator and enjoys a stable, warm and sunny climate all through the year. The perfect area for beach holidays and water sport activities. It has two and a half million inhabitants and a extended tourism infra structure. Its the clostest city to Europe (approx. 8 flight hours to Spain / Portugal) and the US. There is a rich entertainment programm, you can have drinks and parties on the beaches, dance, visit some of the varios tourist attractions, or have a relaxing holiday enjoying some of the most beautiful beaches of Brazil. Also during the carnival season (Febuary) Fortaleza flowers. Its a different kind of carnival then the typical known from Rio de Janeiro. You reach the entrance via an external staircase and a gallery on the second floor of a residential building. Besides the gallery in front of the entrance, the apartment has two more balconies (one on the south side and one on the north side). It offers you many opportunities to spend time in the fresh air or in the sun. The apartment has a small, but fully fitted kitchen in the hallway, a bathroom with shower, a living room with a sofa bed and a bedroom with a double bed. The sofa bed is extensible and large enough for two adults. The apartment is spread over two floors. The entrance, hallway, kitchen, bathroom and living room are on the lower floor. The bedroom is on the upper floor and is reached by a stairway from the living room. In front of the bedroom is a beautiful balcony facing to the south, to the court yard, and from this balcony you have a view on sea, although restricted by neighbouring buildings. In the street in front of the building you have ample parking space and you can watch your car from the north balcony of the apartment. Activities: The nearby public beach is nice and clean, has a beautiful pebble beach, a helter-skelter slide and a café-bar.
