The Schillerkiez is named to be Berlin´s new hot spot at the former Tempelhof airfield which currently serves as a recreational area. Kiteboarding, skating, rollerblading and a lot more of ohter sport activities are found here. Lots of new bars, cafes and galleries close by. Kreuzberg and Mitte is just a few stops with the U 8 line which stops 5 min away at Boddinstr. Alexanderplatz are easy 15 min, and Kottbusser Tor merly 7min on the train.
