Description:This rather luxurious cave artfully combines granite, wood and earth. It has a 70 sqm (760 sq ft) ground floor divided into three rooms on 3 levels, topped by a 20 sqm (215 sq ft) loft. While the earthbag walls elegantly fill gaps between large boulders, the double roof structure is elliptic in shape and rests on two massive Sandalwood poles which previously served as main masts on a sailing boat. Warm natural light finds its way in through downlights and a large glass front. Corners are entirely absent, and a feeling of peace and tranquility prevails. The villa features a large stylish outdoor kitchen that overlooks the surrounding jungle. It comes fully equipped (stainless steel kitchenware), but instead of electrical appliances you will find a wood fired brick dome (pizza) oven on the kitchen counter. The villa is located off the beaten track in a quiet & superbly relaxing natural setting. There are no neighbors to worry about, yet the nearby village of Sri Thanu is only a 5-minute bike ride away. One of Koh Phangan's most stunning swimming and snorkeling destination - a peninsula called Koh Ma (Mae Haad) - is a mere 15 minutes drive away. The villa is 100% powered by solar energy and all water used in both kitchen and bathroom is harvested rainwater. We have a water system in place which refines clean, safe rainwater into an alkaline, magnetized, mineralized elixir of youth. The villa comes with an extensive library of books centering around the themes of Yoga, Tantra, Integral Spirituality, Psychology, Taoism, Organic Farming & Permaculture, Physics, Earthen Architecture, Biographies & Autobiographies.
