Description:This darling apartment right off of the 1st Street bridge is golden for it's location- a 15 minute walk to Zilker Park, home of the Austin City Limits fest, a 15 minute walk to the center of Austin's happening downtown, and in even less time your two feet can whisk you to the S. Congress boutique district. No worries if you don't feel like walking though, a parking space is included in the price of the rental, and there are a couple of bike rental shops nearby if you want to take advantage of Austin's bike-friendliness! My address is just steps away from several different bus routes as well (including a no-transfer line that drops you off hassle-free at Zilker/Barton Springs for $1). Also included is free wi-fi access, central air, automatic dishwasher, a television with DVDs (sorry, no cable!), and a shady BBQ patio shared by the small apartment complex. Additionally, there are coin-operated washer-driers on the grounds. I have a comfy queen-sized bed and a futon in the living room. Technically, you could have a 4th person sleeping here, but the futon is twin-sized, so someone would need a sleeping bag to crash on the floor (I have one ya'll can use if you want to squish a fourth buddy). I will have plenty of cookware for you, clean towels for 4 folks, and extra linens/pillows if you would like to take advantage of the futon. My place is clean, quiet (please, no parties! It's very clean and has things no hotel can offer. This listing is for use of a private 2 BR apartment with 2 private bedrooms, full bathroom, kitchenette and an outdoor private patio! This awesome apartment building has a killer roof deck with panoramic views of all of NYC and bridges. The building is manned with a 24 HOUR Doorman / Security, gym and laundry room as well. The patio outside either bedroom has a table and chairs which is lovely for coffee in the morning, as the sun is all over it. If you're the physical type, there is a gym (free) for your use in the building as well as a laundry room (coin operated), vending machines and ATM as well. The kitchenette has the bare, basic necessities fridge, microwave, hot plate with a couple of top of the line stainless pots/pans, a coffee maker. You are able to make small dishes (pasta, veggies, etc.) but there is no oven. Within 1 block in any direction, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and 24 hr deli that makes killer sandwiches 24 hours. Or anything can be delivered! The Building and Neighborhood: This building complex has 125 units, mostly 2 bedrooms, but this is a special 3 BR Duplex with outdoor patios! Overall, this is a young building: the average age in the entire complex is between 27-35. But these bedrooms are extremely quiet as it's in the corner of a building ground level. This neighborhood is very lively after the sun goes down. The East Village has been heavily built up over the last 5 years and located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan. The East Village offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and a beautiful park. You can walk to Indian, Russian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vegetarian and American restaurants within a 5 block radius. If you're too tired and beat up from touring NYC and don't feel like going anywhere, you can simply order in and have anything delivered to the room (usually until 11 pm or midnight). And these little privately owned restaurants are MUCH better than midtown/tourist-trap food chain places. There are at least three 24/hr places to eat within 1 block. This building is one of only a few in the neighborhood that has a doorman and an elevator. About 95% of the buildings in the area are walk-ups. Your home away from home will provide the NYC experience not soon forgotten: the spectacular panoramic view of NYC on the roof deck (elevator and outdoor furniture up there), 2 private patios in the unit, a huge courtyard in middle of complex, about 50 restaurant/bars/cafe's within a 3 block radius and probably 500 within a 10 block radius. SMOKING: Smoking is restricted to outdoors. All of our rentals step out to patio areas w/ tables, chairs, and ash trays for your smoking convenience. SPA: No children alone in spa. Turn spa jets off and replace spa cover. Bring spa towels/supplies in. Throw trash in appropriate outdoor trash area. TRASH: Throw trash in wastebaskets, not the floor. Trash cans are located behind bamboo doors across from pool. Recyclable aluminum/plastic bottles/cans go in the round beige can to the right of the shed next to the exit gate. UTILITIES: Be energy efficient by turning off utilities when you leave rooms or unit. WALK-THROUGH: If your security deposit(s) were paid by credit card or Paypal, a walk-through will be conducted and your deposit(s) refunded by the same form of payment within 48 hrs. If your security deposit(s) were paid in cash, a walk-through will be conducted the day you depart between 10:00 AM- 12:00 noon and your deposit(s) refunded in cash. You may waive being present for the walk-through if you are not checking out during business hours, and your security deposit(s) will be refunded via your choice of Paypal or U.S.P.S mail (within the U.S. only.) Checklist to insure return of security deposit and avoiding extra charges (any extra charges would be processed from the security deposit by Airbnb): * All keys, tags, and flashlight must be on key ring. Key ring must be left in original location, or responsible guest will be legally responsible for the cost of emergency locksmith services including: re-keying lock, replacement keys for all who currently hold a key and/or electric gate remote, which includes residents, employees, and utility companies. If payment is not received within 10 days, legal action will be taken. * Leave all furniture and personal property items in same spot so they can be accounted for or you will be charged $25 per 1/2 hr. to move and inventory. * Do not make or strip bed. All bedding/pillows should be visible on bed. * Do not remove blanket from duvet, pillows from shams, or memory foam cover! This will only cause housekeeping extra work, for which you will be charged $25. * If you used sofa bed, place used sheets, blanket, and pillow on top of sofa, not rolled up inside or you will be charged $25. * Wash, dry & put away your dirty dishes, pots ’n pans or you will be charged $25 per 1/2 hr. * Throw all dirty towels inside shower floor * Check closet, drawers, safe, and floor to make sure you don’t leave anything behind as we do not mail lost and found items. * Make sure safe is left in the “open” (turned left) position with the plunger extended or you will be charged $10 to obtain the safe code to unlock it. * Any left over food or beauty products that you choose not to take back with you can be left on the table, and will be donated to charity. * Cleaning supplies are provided under bathroom and kitchen sinks for your use during your stay. * Do not throw away any empty refillable supply containers or you will be charged a restocking fee determined by host. * Report damaged or missing items immediately so fair replacement value can be calculated and deducted from security deposit.
