Description:This bright and spacious loft-style penthouse apartment offers majestic views over the canopy of a small park giving the feeling of a truly idyllic retreat in the countryside but is in fact in the middle of the city - less than 20 minutes to Friedrichstrasse. The apartment is located in Alt-Tempelhof, close to Kreuzberg, the multicultural melting pot and currently the most interesting part of Berlin with its vivid art scene, English theater, bars and restaurants. The living room is very bright, has high ceilings and measures 70 square meters. It is divided into three separate areas: a large dining area with a beautiful wooden dining-table and an attractive sunny balcony, a generous sitting area with sofa and armchairs and in the front next to the kitchen a cozy fireplace with a wood-burning stove. A large skylight lets in even more light: a crackling fire in winter and above you twinkling stars - what more could you want? The open-plan kitchen has a breakfast bar, a very good stove, large fridge and a dishwasher. A large larder provides space for essentials such as a freezer, provisions, wood for the oven and other things. The apartment has two large separate bedrooms. which face east and, like the terrace, receive the morning sunshine. The master bedroom has a large king size bed and a desk. The second bedroom is currently arranged as a study with a second desk, but could be converted into a second bedroom. All rooms have central heating. On entering through the front door, you will find beautiful stone tiles in the hall and bathroom. The bathroom, which is also light and sunny, comes with a floor to ceiling shower and is equipped with a high quality new washing machine. Next to the bedroom is a large store room, which is suitable for clothes, shoes and other things like vacuum cleaner, etc. A cellar is also available for storage. Behind the house there is a courtyard with communal garden, lawn and children’s play area. The street is quiet, tree-lined and cobble-stoned and has a number of architecturally beautiful buildings. The park in front of the apartment is a small paradise with ponds, walkways and ancient trees. The former Tempelhof Airport, which is now a huge green area and the creative playground for many Berliners, can be reached on foot within 10 minutes. Here more and more people pursue recreational activities, have fun with urban gardening and come together for barbecues. The famous ‘Bergmannkiez’ (the fashionable area of Kreuzberg) is a mere 10-15 minutes trip by Underground on the U6 or by bicycle. The S-Bahn Südkreuz, which is also one of the main railways terminals, is three bus stops away. There is easy access to both Berlin Tegel and Berlin Schoenefeld airports. In the immediate location of the apartment you will find numerous shopping possibilities, from organic food stores to discounters a large department store is directly opposite of the park. Description:Cortijo La Suerte is situated on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada on a fifteen minutes walk from the village Pitres and a twenty minutes walk from the village Mecina. It is a typical house in 'the campo' where nature lovers can enjoy the quiet country atmosphere. The swimming pool, Jacuzzi, central heating in the living room and floor heating in the two main bedrooms are small luxuries that add to the rural living style. So don't expect a luxurious holiday mansion but enjoy the advantages of the quiet countryside, where you can be completely on your own. The house has been built ten years ago and recently an extra floor and an annex have been added. With three double bedrooms it sleeps six persons. Because of the hilly area and the swimming pool, the house seems less appropriate for children under six years old. On the upper floor, the spacious main bedroom has a double bed, washstand, picture windows and doors opening to a large terrace with stunning mountains views. The second bedroom has two single beds and the new bathroom next door, with washstand, bath and toilet. The bedrooms have floor heating for the cold times. Downstairs, a second bathroom has another toilet, a wash basin and an unusual semi-circular shower. While showering one can admire the view over the mountains and the village of Mecina. The living room has central heating and a cosy wood stove and an open kitchen with hot and cold water, a fridge/freezer, and a kitchen cooker with an oven. The dining area has a table for eight persons, and the inventory is sufficient for such a group. The terrace on the main floor is covered and is the perfect place to stay on a hot summers day. From this terrace one has also wonderful views over the valley and the mountains. The Jacuzzi room enters into this terrace. A little separate apartment is situated next to the swimming pool with a nice hidden terrace between fruit trees and with beautiful views. Description:The former 'Blackgang Mission Hall' built in 1895 and only ever used as a mission meeting hall until we bought it in 2007. It has an interesting history and a unique atmosphere. The Mission is situated on Blythe Shute, just outside the village of Chale on the South coast of the island. Being in an 'area of outstanding natural beauty' the mission is steps away from stunning coastal scenery and 'in the loop' for some great coastal walking ... or just a walk to the pub! Externally the building has been re-clad and repainted using original materials and paint colors. There is a private car park for 2 cars. Internally much of the original interior remains untouched. We have created a mostly open-plan 'building-within-a-building' inside the main body of the hall. This gives 2 double mezzanine bedrooms floating in the roof-space and underneath a large open sitting area with masses of seating and a gorgeous woodburning stove. Also in the main hall is a luxuriously large bathroom with a sunken bath ...sunken into what was the baptismal font. At the back of the main hall is the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is a restored beautiful 1950's English Rose model and kind of looks like it has always been there.
