Handicap Access This home is fairly accessible for those with limited mobility since there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main level. The main entrance has 2 steps to enter the home. Once you are on the main level, there is a living room, TV, kitchen, dining area, BBQ, and 55 foot deck with amazing views. Layout You walk in the front door and straight ahead is the large living room with lots of comfy couches, table seating for 6 and a TV with DirecTV, DVD player. Next to the TV is a wood burning stove and we provide the wood. It is very rare to find homes in Tahoe with real wood burning stoves and fireplaces since a rule came out over 6 years ago that fireplaces must be removed when a home is sold. I bought this house before that rule so I am able to keep the wood stove and fireplace. There are large double paned windows facing the mountain and meadows in this room. The sliding glass door leads you out to the large 55 foot deck with picnic table seating for 18 and a high quality BBQ. The views of the mountains and meadow are amazing and you can see coyotes, birds, chipmunks and sometimes a beaver running around. On the right side of the deck is a door that leads into the master suite with a queen bed, seating, and ensuite bathroom. You can also enter this private master suite through the garage. Off of the upstairs living room is a hallway which leads you to a bathroom with a shower/tub on the left, a queen bedroom on the right, a king bedroom on the right and then a second master bedroom on the left with a king bed, TV, DirecTV service, and a private bathroom with shower. Off of the upstairs living room is the open kitchen and dining seating for 12. The kitchen was recently remodeled with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and new sink. Continue through the kitchen and walk down the stairs to the lower level. You will enter the billiards room with a large pool table. On the right are three bedrooms with queen beds. After you pass the billiards room, there is a large bathroom on the left with a shower. Continue down the hallway and you will enter the great room with a large TV with DirecTV, DVD player, DVD library, wet bar, bar stools, shuffleboard table, large cozy fireplace and I provide the wood. Pass this room and you will enter the sunroom. There is a ping pong table, couches and great views. To the right is a large bedroom with 3 full beds. There is a sliding glass door that leads outside to the hot tub. This hot tub was recently purchased and has lots of jets. Around the corner from the hot tub is the wood room. The driveway can fit 4 cars and 2 cars can fit in the garage. In the garage is a storage room for skis, boards, poles, boots, etc. Snow Removal I have a company that plows the driveway when there is more than 5 inches of snow. Remember to bring chains when traveling in the Sierras and bring extra food and water in your car.... more info >>

Bedroom 3 has 4 bunks. The bottom 2 bunks are very comfortable and suitable for adults The top two are also comfortable but more suitable for children. This is an exceptional family chalet suitable for 4 adults plus 4 children or 6 adults. It is situated in a quiet road within easy reach of shops, restaurants, leisure facilities and bus stops A car is an advantage but definitely not essential. The views are stunning and we have a 1300sq metre garden . Additional information about rental rates 20% deposit required with booking. Balance required 8 weeks prior to rental start date. Bank transfers should be made in Swiss Francs or British pound equivalent. Additionally a £500 deposit is required against losses, breakages, damages or additional cleaning. Subject to deductions, this will be returned within 10 days of the final day of the rental period.Rental payments are non-refundable, so holiday insurance is recommended. The rental period is for 1 week from Saturday to Saturday. Keys will be available from 1600 hrs on the start date and the property must be vacated by 1030 hrs on departure day. Alternative start/finish days can be negotiated. Swiss Tourist Tax is payable at the Leysin Tourist Office (SFr 3.10 per day for adults, SFr 2.00 per day for ages 7 -16 Years, SFr 1.70 for over 64 years and no charge for under 7 years). The Gower Peninsular is 40 minutes away and Pembrokeshire is an hours drive away with little fishing villages, more sandy beaches and Oakwood (Wales' Alton Towers). The new Welsh race course Ffos Las is close by as are Pembrey Motorsports centre, fine golf courses, fishing and horse riding. Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: All bed linen and towells are provided, although we would ask that guests supply their own beach towels. The property is cleaned thoroughly and bedding and towels changed after each letting. Highchair and travel cot available for guests use. We allow a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs. Accessibility We have a downstairs bedroom with en-suite shower room suitable for guests with limited mobility. Outside Set in 18 acres including 5 acres of woodland there is plenty of space to explore. There is a large trampolene for use by guests at their own risk. Notes on prices Reduced prices for unbooked dates in Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec are now offered. £450 for 3 night weekend or 4 night midweek break, £700 for 7 nights.
