Description:This bright and spacious loft-style penthouse apartment offers majestic views over the canopy of a small park giving the feeling of a truly idyllic retreat in the countryside but is in fact in the middle of the city - less than 20 minutes to Friedrichstrasse. The apartment is located in Alt-Tempelhof, close to Kreuzberg, the multicultural melting pot and currently the most interesting part of Berlin with its vivid art scene, English theater, bars and restaurants. The living room is very bright, has high ceilings and measures 70 square meters. It is divided into three separate areas: a large dining area with a beautiful wooden dining-table and an attractive sunny balcony, a generous sitting area with sofa and armchairs and in the front next to the kitchen a cozy fireplace with a wood-burning stove. A large skylight lets in even more light: a crackling fire in winter and above you twinkling stars - what more could you want? On entering through the front door, you will find beautiful stone tiles in the hall and bathroom. The bathroom, which is also light and sunny, comes with a floor to ceiling shower and is equipped with a high quality new washing machine. Next to the bedroom is a large store room, which is suitable for clothes, shoes and other things like vacuum cleaner, etc. A cellar is also available for storage. Behind the house there is a courtyard with communal garden, lawn and children’s play area. The street is quiet, tree-lined and cobble-stoned and has a number of architecturally beautiful buildings. The park in front of the apartment is a small paradise with ponds, walkways and ancient trees. The former Tempelhof Airport, which is now a huge green area and the creative playground for many Berliners, can be reached on foot within 10 minutes. Here more and more people pursue recreational activities, have fun with urban gardening and come together for barbecues. The famous ‘Bergmannkiez’ (the fashionable area of Kreuzberg) is a mere 10-15 minutes trip by Underground on the U6 or by bicycle. The S-Bahn Südkreuz, which is also one of the main railways terminals, is three bus stops away. There is easy access to both Berlin Tegel and Berlin Schoenefeld airports. In the immediate location of the apartment you will find numerous shopping possibilities, from organic food stores to discounters a large department store is directly opposite of the park. A rare opportunity to stay in a restored church with all the comforts of home. This place is unique, charming & beautiful on a quiet country road. The entire church has been updated and freshly painted. I keep the church spotless. Property description & amenities: The ceiling is 30 feet high surrounded by eight, 4’ x 12 ‘ stained glass windows. Central heating & wood burning stove/fireplace, hardwood floors, washer/dryer, wi fi Internet, music system and complete kitchen. There is a new grand piano you are welcome to play. The master bedroom with private bath is located on the balcony, (formerly the choir loft). There is a flat screen TV with cable and DVD player at the foot of the queen bed. Linens, comforter, pillows, towels, hair dryer & shampoo are provided. The loft/balcony master bedroom is private from view from below and separate from the second bedroom. I provide, coffee, hot chocolate, cereals, bagels, cream cheese, fruit, juices etc. for your breakfast. There is a country store 1/4 blocks away. Snow shoeing trails, walking paths, parks and a host of fun activities nearby. Check in anytime after 4 p.m. I don't mind late arrivals. Plenty of off street parking. You're five minutes to Lake Champlain, 20 to downtown Burlington. Next door to Mt. Philo, the Shelburne Museum, Shelburne Farms and the Shelburne Village with it's quaint shops and restaurants. The per day rate for the entire church is $165.00 for two persons and $15 per night for each additional person. plus a $40 total cleaning deposit. Handicap Access This home is fairly accessible for those with limited mobility since there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main level. The main entrance has 2 steps to enter the home. Once you are on the main level, there is a living room, TV, kitchen, dining area, BBQ, and 55 foot deck with amazing views. Layout You walk in the front door and straight ahead is the large living room with lots of comfy couches, table seating for 6 and a TV with DirecTV, DVD player. Next to the TV is a wood burning stove and we provide the wood. It is very rare to find homes in Tahoe with real wood burning stoves and fireplaces since a rule came out over 6 years ago that fireplaces must be removed when a home is sold. I bought this house before that rule so I am able to keep the wood stove and fireplace. There are large double paned windows facing the mountain and meadows in this room. The sliding glass door leads you out to the large 55 foot deck with picnic table seating for 18 and a high quality BBQ. The views of the mountains and meadow are amazing and you can see coyotes, birds, chipmunks and sometimes a beaver running around. On the right side of the deck is a door that leads into the master suite with a queen bed, seating, and ensuite bathroom. You can also enter this private master suite through the garage. Off of the upstairs living room is a hallway which leads you to a bathroom with a shower/tub on the left, a queen bedroom on the right, a king bedroom on the right and then a second master bedroom on the left with a king bed, TV, DirecTV service, and a private bathroom with shower. Off of the upstairs living room is the open kitchen and dining seating for 12. The kitchen was recently remodeled with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and new sink. Continue through the kitchen and walk down the stairs to the lower level. You will enter the billiards room with a large pool table. On the right are three bedrooms with queen beds. After you pass the billiards room, there is a large bathroom on the left with a shower. Continue down the hallway and you will enter the great room with a large TV with DirecTV, DVD player, DVD library, wet bar, bar stools, shuffleboard table, large cozy fireplace and I provide the wood. Pass this room and you will enter the sunroom. There is a ping pong table, couches and great views. To the right is a large bedroom with 3 full beds. There is a sliding glass door that leads outside to the hot tub. This hot tub was recently purchased and has lots of jets. Around the corner from the hot tub is the wood room. The driveway can fit 4 cars and 2 cars can fit in the garage. In the garage is a storage room for skis, boards, poles, boots, etc. Snow Removal I have a company that plows the driveway when there is more than 5 inches of snow. Description:Cortijo La Suerte is situated on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada on a fifteen minutes walk from the village Pitres and a twenty minutes walk from the village Mecina. It is a typical house in 'the campo' where nature lovers can enjoy the quiet country atmosphere. The swimming pool, Jacuzzi, central heating in the living room and floor heating in the two main bedrooms are small luxuries that add to the rural living style. So don't expect a luxurious holiday mansion but enjoy the advantages of the quiet countryside, where you can be completely on your own. The house has been built ten years ago and recently an extra floor and an annex have been added. With three double bedrooms it sleeps six persons. Because of the hilly area and the swimming pool, the house seems less appropriate for children under six years old. On the upper floor, the spacious main bedroom has a double bed, washstand, picture windows and doors opening to a large terrace with stunning mountains views. The second bedroom has two single beds and the new bathroom next door, with washstand, bath and toilet. The bedrooms have floor heating for the cold times. Downstairs, a second bathroom has another toilet, a wash basin and an unusual semi-circular shower. While showering one can admire the view over the mountains and the village of Mecina. The living room has central heating and a cosy wood stove and an open kitchen with hot and cold water, a fridge/freezer, and a kitchen cooker with an oven. The dining area has a table for eight persons, and the inventory is sufficient for such a group. The terrace on the main floor is covered and is the perfect place to stay on a hot summers day. From this terrace one has also wonderful views over the valley and the mountains. The Jacuzzi room enters into this terrace. A little separate apartment is situated next to the swimming pool with a nice hidden terrace between fruit trees and with beautiful views. The main entrance to the house is through the large sun-room which overlooks the long stone front terrace, which has a small covered dining barn with a summer kitchen. The lovely light sun-room opens into the eat-in-kitchen that is fully equipped with electric hob, oven, two fridges and a freezer. The kitchen leads into the spacious comfortable sitting and dining room that has a central wood burning stove, telephone, and a door also leading onto the front terrace, that is ideal for alfresco meals. Description:Stunning one bedroom flat on a leafy street, near to Queenspark and all the joys of this charming London area. Wonderful bars, delis, supermarkets, restaurants are all within walking distance of the flat and every Sunday, the award winning Queenspark Farmers market is a delight of fresh produce and delicious cooking. There is also an excellent local bookshop and the boutique Iris is well worth a look! Central London is about 10 minutes away and transport links are excellent both by underground and bus. Both Queenspark and Kilburn Park Stations are about 5minutes walk. ( Bakerloo line). The overground provides fast links to the East Ends and to Stratford for the Olympics. Notting Hill and Portobello Market are also very close. The flat has wonderful high cellings, wooden floors throughout and huge windows, giving it a bright and airy feel. It has been very recently renovated and painted and is spotless. There is no bath, but a very good shower and large wet-room with underfloor heating. In the sitting room, there is a wood burning stove for chilly evenings ( as well as central heating throughout, of course!). There is a very comfortable enormous double bed in the bedroom, and if required, somebody could sleep on the sofa in the sitting room: I have masses of delicious bedding to make a cosy nest. I can also provide a double blow up mattress if needed! There is a fully fitted kitchen, wiFi, TV and a record player to which you can hook up your ipod.
