Description:Cortijo La Suerte is situated on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada on a fifteen minutes walk from the village Pitres and a twenty minutes walk from the village Mecina. It is a typical house in 'the campo' where nature lovers can enjoy the quiet country atmosphere. The swimming pool, Jacuzzi, central heating in the living room and floor heating in the two main bedrooms are small luxuries that add to the rural living style. So don't expect a luxurious holiday mansion but enjoy the advantages of the quiet countryside, where you can be completely on your own. The house has been built ten years ago and recently an extra floor and an annex have been added. With three double bedrooms it sleeps six persons. Because of the hilly area and the swimming pool, the house seems less appropriate for children under six years old. On the upper floor, the spacious main bedroom has a double bed, washstand, picture windows and doors opening to a large terrace with stunning mountains views. The second bedroom has two single beds and the new bathroom next door, with washstand, bath and toilet. The bedrooms have floor heating for the cold times. Downstairs, a second bathroom has another toilet, a wash basin and an unusual semi-circular shower. While showering one can admire the view over the mountains and the village of Mecina. The living room has central heating and a cosy wood stove and an open kitchen with hot and cold water, a fridge/freezer, and a kitchen cooker with an oven. The dining area has a table for eight persons, and the inventory is sufficient for such a group. The terrace on the main floor is covered and is the perfect place to stay on a hot summers day. From this terrace one has also wonderful views over the valley and the mountains. The Jacuzzi room enters into this terrace. A little separate apartment is situated next to the swimming pool with a nice hidden terrace between fruit trees and with beautiful views. This apartment on the Sorrento Peninsula offers trails throughout the countryside, proximity to Sorrento, and easy access to all of the amazing spots in the area: Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii, and Capri. n nThis villa is one of very few in the area with both private sea frontage and a seawater swimming pool. The villa is built on four levels, with the Attico apartment on Levels 3 and 4. Levels one, two, and four open onto ample terraces equipped with outdoor furniture, while level three opens onto balconies with uninterrupted views of Naples, including the island of Capri, Procida, and Ischia. Mount Vesuvius looms in the background. Back in the corridor, there is a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and bathtub with fixed showerhead. n nThis villa is located about 1.5 km from the center of Massa Lubrense, a quaint town just a few kilometers outside of Sorrento, on one of the most beautiful coastlines of Italy. The area offers beautiful landscape with more than 100 km of trails throughout the countryside, along with some of the best cuisine in the country! It is only 3 miles away from the Island of Capri and within reach of all of the major towns of the Amalfi Coast. Going into the heart of Sorrento, you'll find yourself in a thriving seaside community, filled with life, good food, and great shopping. Sorrento is famous for two things you can't miss: Limoncello (an alcoholic aperitif) and inlaid wood. The workshops of Sorrento were the first to use the technique of arranging small pieces of wood into intricate patterns, a practice which has been refined and perfected through generations.
