The 2 acres of grounds are mainly mown grass with mature trees and shrubs, and childrens’ play area at the top of the drive from where there are panoramic views. Both pools are fenced for safety, and are on different levels separated by high hedges. The old market towns of Riberac and Aubeterre are approximately 15 minutes away – the Friday market in Riberac is reputedly the largest in Perigord. The house was built in the mid ‘80s in the Perigordine style using old materials where possible, and combines the best of modern facilities with traditional style. The approach to the house is from a small lane at the top of the hill. The driveway goes down the hill to the house through extensive grounds which are mainly laid out to mature trees and shrubs, and features a childrens’ play area.
