Description:Our beautiful, Tahoe-Donner home in the foothills above the town of Truckee features a large great-room, perfect for entertaining, and a host of amenities that will make your stay in the Lake Tahoe area truly memorable. n nDuring the spring, summer, and fall months, you will enjoy the two outdoor decks, one with an amazing view of Mt. Rose sunsets, the other private and secluded. The home has close proximity to all that the Tahoe-Donner community has to offer, including 3 pools, tennis center, workout facilities, and a semi-private beach club on the east shore of Donner Lake. Minutes away from the Tahoe-Donner and Coyote Moon championship golf courses and the quaint and rustic town of Truckee with its lovely boutique shopping and dining experiences, the home 's location can offer something for everyone in your family. n nThe home itself features 1998 modern construction and includes a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, central heating, and pine accents throughout. The entire living area is on one level with direct access to both outdoor decks. The 'Great Room ' offers almost 1,000 square feet of space, complete with a large sectional, 48 rear projection TV equipped with cable/DVD/VCR, dining area that comfortably seats seven, wood burning stove, and a kitchen area with plenty of counterspace. The master bedroom has a pillow-top, Sealy Posturepedic California king bed, its own 27 TV with cable and DVD player, and private bathroom with washer and dryer. The second bedroom features a queen-size Sealy Posturepedic (new in September 2008) and a private deck. n nTahoe-Donner offers a great Lake Tahoe vacation experience, especially for families. The community offers 3 pools (1 adult only), a tennis center with 11 courts, a semi-private beach club on Donner Lake with Kayak and paddle boat rentals, and two restaurants including the newly completed Tahoe-Donner Lodge. The downhill ski area is super convenient and great for young families and beginners. The cross-country ski area is second to none, offering access to 4,800 acres of terrain, including the amazing Euer valley. During the winter, the golf course driving range (3 minutes away) is turned into a public snow-play area with sled rentals. Best of all, we 're 20-30 minutes closer to the Bay Area, right off highway 80, and provide easier access to all the ski resorts and golf courses than those communities near Lake Tahoe.... more info >>
