Description:4 person apartment in 2 double bedrooms each with king size beds and ensuite bathrooms. Located in older French style building on the 3rd floor, with windows opening on 3 sides for through breezes. The entrance into this apartment is beautiful. Immediately you can sense the tranquility of the building and the spaciousness of the apartment. Everything from the polished parquet floors with their decorative black outline inserts, to the paint, the furniture and the decorative artworks, is themed and in harmony. A large living room/dining room combination is in the one massive communal area. The ceilings are extremely high meaning that it is cool on the hottest summer day and while there is AC there are windows on 3 sides of the apartment to allow for any breath of air to be enjoyed inside. From the square entry hall is the way in to the kitchen which is large enough to prepare a meal for many friends and guests. The counters are granite and there is a breakfast area with a table and 4 chairs and a washing machine. The fridge/freezer is stainless steel, as it the gas stove with 6 burners and large oven, and a double stainless steel sink and every small appliance you could want to prepare food at home. The room is light and airy as there are windows on 2 sides of the room. There is also a half bath off this area. A wide, serving counter at bar height, has been well designed to pass though delicacies into the dining area and serve food for people to eat at the large dining table, which has 6 dining chairs but could easily seat 8 10! The table is glass topped and the chairs black wood upholstered in cream leather. The black trim is a copy of the floor lines and goes through to the sitting area where there is a large, oversize black leather sofa, spacious and comfortable and a glass top coffee table. Opposite the sofa are 2 huge armchairs for easy relaxing and group conversation or just burrowing down with a book, or watching the wall mounted TV at the end of the room. Two designer frosted glass light fittings hang from the ceiling, one over the dining table and one over the sitting area. On the walls are lots of textile exhibits, many representing work done by Argentine and Andean people. There is also a selection of clay and ceramic decorative pots and dishes which represents a clear interest in the history of the peoples of Argentina. Bedrooms are directly off the main living room but both are so large you would not notice if someone stayed up watching TV after others had retired. Both bedrooms have king sized beds, and are furnished with TVs, phones, alarm clocks and have AC units and their own bathrooms. The master, so called because it is slightly larger, has a bathroom with tub and shower over, a standing sink, and an oval window which adds a touch of olde world charm, in total contrast to the very modern fixtures and fittings in the bathroom itself! The Brandenburg Gate, a landmark both before and after reunification, is the most famous monument in Berlin. On the way you will be passing the Humboldt University, the oldest university in Berlin, Staatsopera (the Operahouse), Museumsinsel (the Museum Island) and the site of the future Stadtschloss (town castle). Description:DREAM LOVER, a Nautical 56 sailboat, is a whole lot more than a room and a meal. It is truly an experience on the water. The salon features comfortable chairs, a dining table with butter yellow suede banquette and lots of French Country print pillows to lounge upon. We have three cabins available: the two forward cabins feature twin bunks and share a bath for $199 per night each (plus tax). The aft Captain's Cabin features a queen bed with full private bath for $225 per night (plus tax). Up top is a spacious cockpit and wide deck area for relaxing, reading, watching the dolphins and manatees frolic. After settling in, you are invited to join us for some welcome aboard refreshments. Then the evening is yours. There are several excellent restaurants nearby and the beach is a short walk away. In the morning, after a harbor tour in our dinghy, 'Bad Dog', we look forward to whetting your appetite with one of our signature dishes, Teddy's Banana Rum pancakes, a piping hot quiche, deep dish French toast, crispy warm croissants, home baked muffins fresh from the oven, breakfast meats, fresh fruit and coffee or tea. We are docked on Anna Maria Island in Bradenton Beach Village, a bit of old Florida tucked below Tampa Bay and north of Sarasota. Kick back, take off your shoes,relax, and enjoy! Skipper is our entertainment director. He is a two year old bichon frise puppy, non shedding and non allergic. They welcome you on board with information about the local folks and the history of this island. After your island dinner (for which they have fine recommendations), you return to your holiday boat home as the sun sets over the gulf to watch the dolphins play in the harbor. Then you will be rocked to sleep in one of their sweet and comfy bunk beds or nestle together in their elegant state room with its own private bath and shower. Kay will be up early preparing coffee before sending you on your way to explore the island, its long white sands, its azure sea (perfect for a swim), its many gift shops. Or maybe you'll just curl up on the deck with a good book or watch the pelicans diving off the end of the pier for fish scraps the fisherman have cleaned off their catch. Or maybe you'll engage in conversation with Kay and Jonathan, your wonderful hosts, who will enthrall you with stories and make you laugh until your endorphins are swimming. This is how it was for me on my May visit this year. It all adds up to an enchanting vacation and memory I will relish for the rest of my life.
