It's very clean and has things no hotel can offer. This listing is for use of a private 2 BR apartment with 2 private bedrooms, full bathroom, kitchenette and an outdoor private patio! This awesome apartment building has a killer roof deck with panoramic views of all of NYC and bridges. The building is manned with a 24 HOUR Doorman / Security, gym and laundry room as well. The patio outside either bedroom has a table and chairs which is lovely for coffee in the morning, as the sun is all over it. If you're the physical type, there is a gym (free) for your use in the building as well as a laundry room (coin operated), vending machines and ATM as well. The kitchenette has the bare, basic necessities fridge, microwave, hot plate with a couple of top of the line stainless pots/pans, a coffee maker. You are able to make small dishes (pasta, veggies, etc.) but there is no oven. Within 1 block in any direction, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and 24 hr deli that makes killer sandwiches 24 hours. Or anything can be delivered! The Building and Neighborhood: This building complex has 125 units, mostly 2 bedrooms, but this is a special 3 BR Duplex with outdoor patios! Overall, this is a young building: the average age in the entire complex is between 27-35. But these bedrooms are extremely quiet as it's in the corner of a building ground level. This neighborhood is very lively after the sun goes down. The East Village has been heavily built up over the last 5 years and located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan. The East Village offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and a beautiful park. You can walk to Indian, Russian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vegetarian and American restaurants within a 5 block radius. If you're too tired and beat up from touring NYC and don't feel like going anywhere, you can simply order in and have anything delivered to the room (usually until 11 pm or midnight). And these little privately owned restaurants are MUCH better than midtown/tourist-trap food chain places. There are at least three 24/hr places to eat within 1 block. This building is one of only a few in the neighborhood that has a doorman and an elevator. About 95% of the buildings in the area are walk-ups. I am most welcoming, yet unobtrusive, so that you will find this to be a comfortable oasis. Of course, I am close by for any questions, advice, requests or needs. You will enter through a front gate,walk down the adobe paver path lit with motion-sensor spots, through the heirloom roses, which are highly scented when in bloom. No need to go through the main house, as the studio is completely separate from the rest of the main house, (although attached by one wall.) Super-private and very quiet, except for the birds, yet centrally located five minutes to downtown Monterey, Laguna Seca Raceway or CSUMB and ten minutes to Monterey Bay Aquarium. There is a 24-hour Safeway and Walgreens just 2 minutes away, in case you have any midnight cravings! Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are 10 minutes away, We are located in a wonderful little sun belt, perched high upon a hilltop with a nice view of Monterey Bay in a very quiet neighborhood, so typically we are above any fog – especially during the summer season when the rest of the Monterey Peninsula could be socked-in! We are at the top of a street which ends in a culdesac so there is not a lot of through traffic and super-easy street parking. Freshly painted in a soothing palette and tastefully furnished, the studio is comprised of large sunny master bedroom with hardwood floors and your own private updated Travertine marble bathroom (shower - no tub) supplied with fluffy towels, hairdryer and high-quality toiletries. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of patio, creating a sunny and bright ambiance.
