The room is very beautiful, spacious and clean. Located in Barcelona's bustling Raval district, the apartment is just a few steps from Rambla del Raval. It's a safe and relaxed haven after a busy day in the streets of Catalonia's capital. The room is very bright and fully furnished, there is also use of closet space. We have our own room so you will be sharing the kitchen and bathroom with us only. You will have your own keys and 24 hour access to the apartment. Smoking is allowed but on the balconies. Description:This darling apartment right off of the 1st Street bridge is golden for it's location- a 15 minute walk to Zilker Park, home of the Austin City Limits fest, a 15 minute walk to the center of Austin's happening downtown, and in even less time your two feet can whisk you to the S. Congress boutique district. No worries if you don't feel like walking though, a parking space is included in the price of the rental, and there are a couple of bike rental shops nearby if you want to take advantage of Austin's bike-friendliness! My address is just steps away from several different bus routes as well (including a no-transfer line that drops you off hassle-free at Zilker/Barton Springs for $1). Also included is free wi-fi access, central air, automatic dishwasher, a television with DVDs (sorry, no cable!), and a shady BBQ patio shared by the small apartment complex. Additionally, there are coin-operated washer-driers on the grounds. I have a comfy queen-sized bed and a futon in the living room. Technically, you could have a 4th person sleeping here, but the futon is twin-sized, so someone would need a sleeping bag to crash on the floor (I have one ya'll can use if you want to squish a fourth buddy). I will have plenty of cookware for you, clean towels for 4 folks, and extra linens/pillows if you would like to take advantage of the futon. My place is clean, quiet (please, no parties! It's very clean and has things no hotel can offer. This posting is for use of an entire apartment with a private bedroom, full bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining area and 2 outdoor patios! This awesome apartment building has a killer roof deck with panoramic views of all of NYC and bridges. The building is manned with a 24 HOUR Doorman / Security. The PRICE is $ 200 / night (minimum 5 nights). If you would like it for Friday and Saturday nights and a total of less than 5 nights, it's $ 250/night for Fri/Sat nights, and 200/night for the other nights. If you would like it for 7 nights, it's 200/night for ALL 7 nights. The patio off the kitchen is just perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning with some sun which faces the beautiful courtyard with little to no street noise. The other garden patio is fully lavished with greenery and a koi pond. If you're the physical type, there is a gym (free) for your use in the basement of the building as well as a laundry room (coin operated), vending machines and ATM as well. The unit has a fully stocked kitchen: full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas stove/oven, microwave, top of the line stainless cookware, utensils, dishware, glassware and a full private bathroom. The Building and Neighborhood: This building complex has 125 units, mostly 2 bedrooms, but this is a special 3 BR Duplex with outdoor patios! This neighborhood is very lively after the sun goes down. The East Village has been heavily built up over the last 5 years and located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan. The East Village offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and a beautiful park. You can walk to Indian, Russian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vegetarian and American restaurants within a 5 block radius. If you're too tired and beat up from touring NYC and don't feel like going anywhere, you can simply order in and have anything delivered to the room (usually until 11 pm or midnight). And these little privately owned restaurants are MUCH better than midtown/tourist-trap food chain places. There are at least three 24/hr places to eat within 1 block. This building is one of only a few in the neighborhood that has a doorman and an elevator. About 95% of the buildings in the area are walk-ups. Your home away from home will provide the NYC experience not soon forgotten: the spectacular panoramic view of NYC on the roof deck (elevator and outdoor furniture up there), 2 private patios in the unit, a huge courtyard in middle of complex, about 50 restaurant/bars/cafe's within a 3 block radius and probably 500 within a 10 block radius. Enjoy a beautiful park (Tompkins Square) at the end of the block and an East River waterfront park about 4 streets/blocks to the east. Description:Faye's Place, affectionately named after our beloved Granny. This contemporary one bedroom, one bath guest house, was fully renovated in 2009. It has an open floor plan with one large bedroom with a queen size bed, and a convertible sofa in the living room with a full sized bed. There is a large bathroom with tub and shower. It was the First Aid cabin that all the fisherman, cabin renters and campers visited for their minor medical needs, as it was centrally located. That sweet little cabin has been completely remodeled and upgraded with maximum considerations in the nicest vintage way for your personal enjoyment and comfort. I have been an Airbnb host since 2009 and I love hosting people from all over the world. So let me tell you about my guest house..... Where is the guest house located? The guest house is centrally located in the Hancock Park/Korea town area of Los Angeles. It is 5 minutes from the charm of Larchmont Village and Paramount Studios, 12 minutes from downtown LA , 12 minutes to Beverly Hills and 20 minutes from Universal Studios. I am close to major freeways and cross streets that can get you anywhere you need to go. For those who don’t wish to drive in LA, I am walking distance to Olympic Boulevard which is serviced by major bus lines going east and west. What is the guest house like? The guest house is a large, entirely renovated studio style apartment located on the second floor with its own outdoor patio overlooking a large flowering garden. It is completely detached from the main house ensuring total privacy and is located down a gated driveway with its own private and secure entry. The terrace faces south and is covered in flowering jasmine and bougainvillea and is perfect for an early morning coffee or an evening glass of wine under the stars. What is inside the guest house? Pleased you asked! There’s….. • a gorgeous and comfortable Queen sized bed with fresh linens. I also have a queen air mattress for those of you who don’t wish to share a bed! • a closet with hanging space for your dresses and shirts, a chest of drawers and ample space for your bags. • a beautiful marble bathroom with a large shower (no tub). • soft and fluffy hotel style towels and a hair dryer, iron and ironing board are provided. • a port a crib in case you need it for your little one. • a granite kitchen with a 2 burner cook top, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator (under bench), coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils, plates, glasses, cutlery etc. All of this is perfect for cooking breakfast before you head out to see LA. • free broadband internet. • a flat screen TV with Basic Cable and HBO package (PPV requires an extra charge) • air conditioning to keep you cool and heat to keep you cozy and warm. • easy, free and safe street parking on a wide quiet street right in front of the main house. What else do I need to know about the guest house before I book? THIS IS THE IMPORTANT STUFF ... • The USD85 per night does not include Los Angeles City Hotel Tax which is currently 14% of the room rate on a per night basis. You need to pay the tax separately when you arrive and I’ll deal with the hassle of paying the City. • To cover that broken plate, stray cigarette burn or any other damage, I require a USD200 security deposit. It is refundable at the end of your stay and so far I have returned everyone’s security deposit in full! • No smoking inside the guest house - but there is a lovely terrace where you may smoke outside and enjoy a view over the garden. So much nicer, don’t you think? • Please check my calendar before you book! I keep it up to date and I hate to disappoint you when you ask for dates that are already booked. I take bookings on a first come first served basis -as much as i might love you, I don't hold the space - if in doubt - please book and then cancel within a reasonable time in advance. • I love animals, but I don’t allow them in the guest house unless you arrange that with me in advance. Of course – this doesn’t apply to service animals- these guys are always welcome to stay!
