Built in 1918 this home has retained some features while being refurbished with modern in facilities. A sea facing veranda across the width of the house is ideal for outdoor living while a library/2nd lounge with authentic fire place provides a cosy space in less than perfect weather conditions. The villa has been furnished to reflect the colours and clean lines of the ocean. Open living spaces characterize this home with kitchen, lounge and dining room all flowing on to veranda with spectacular views. Golden vineyards, sun drenched orchards, beaches, silent forests, sweeping lakes and beautiful views make this region a delight, not to mention the wealth of entertainment and industry that Cape Town offers. There is something for everyone from shopping to fishing and adventure trails, swimming and sunbathing on the False Bay Coast. From Muizenburg to Kalk Bay is a busy main street with market stalls, antique shops, art galleries as well stalls on the pavements. The most notable feature of False Bay must be the golden, sandy beaches lapped by the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Within only a few minutes walk, you can reach the main Museums (Reina Sofía, Prado, Thyssen), the most visited and emblematic touristic sites such as the Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Palacio Real or the Gran Vía and neighbourhoods such as La Latina. There are loads of bars, restaurants, shops, theatres & cinemas around Chueca. The apartment is well connected on public transportation. There are three underground stations from 2 minutes to 8 minutes walk away, but you really can avoid them as most major sights are within walking distance. It is perfect for tourists but also for business travellers as the apartment offers a quiet space with high-speed wireless internet, proximity to the business district and well communicated with the airport.
