Description:We are a couple and have a great private room available for rent in our apartment. The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room. The room is very beautiful, spacious and clean. Located in Barcelona's bustling Raval district, the apartment is just a few steps from Rambla del Raval. It's a safe and relaxed haven after a busy day in the streets of Catalonia's capital. The room is very bright and fully furnished, there is also use of closet space. We have our own room so you will be sharing the kitchen and bathroom with us only. You will have your own keys and 24 hour access to the apartment. Smoking is allowed but on the balconies. The apartment is in a building with elevator. Metro Sant Antoni is the closest stop. Description:This holiday home is a self catering house with 180 degrees sea views and is located 100 meters from the bathing area St James Tidal Pool. Built in 1918 this home has retained some features while being refurbished with modern in facilities. Twee Gevels (Two Gabels) is situated halfway between Kalk Bay and Muizenberg and offers a spacious and luxurious home optimizing the uninterrupted sea views while being in close proximity of all tourist attractions False Bay area has to offer. Twee Gevels is situated across the road from the beach with closest swimming area 100 meters away. The living areas of this grand old lady as well as three bedrooms offer sea views. A sea facing veranda across the width of the house is ideal for outdoor living while a library/2nd lounge with authentic fire place provides a cosy space in less than perfect weather conditions. The villa has been furnished to reflect the colours and clean lines of the ocean. From Muizenburg to Kalk Bay is a busy main street with market stalls, antique shops, art galleries as well stalls on the pavements. Description:The old Blue Moon factory is a big two story house in the heart of the old Poblenou neighbourhood. After 20 years of being a lamp factory, it it has been getting converted to an artistic type of loft space the last three years. It has 3 double bedrooms, (2 upstairs, 1 downstairs) that can be rented individually or together. The house is in a quiet corner of a great little neighborhood: a block away from metro Poblenou, buses, night bus, Bicing, the tram, shops, supermarkets, The Mar Bella/Bogatell/Nova Icaría beaches are a short stroll down c/Bilbao or the tree-lined Rambla de Poblenou. The large reception/lamp exhibition space is now the living room, with big mirrored sliding doors to the kitchen. It has a dining room set, another desk, 2 couches, TV, VHS, DVD player and a large collection of VHS cassettes. There is no television reception, you can only watch movies. Also, there is a large collection of guide and history books of Spain, Catalunya and Barcelona in a variety of languages. The kitchen is big, sunny and has a large collection of international teas and spices, which guests are welcome to use and add too. A BBQ outside and a large variety of pots and pans give the gourmet plenty of possibilities to make delicious meals. The guests have an entire fridge to themselves. Outside the kitchen is a small Andalusian-style patio, with lots of plants, herbs, a BBQ, two chairs and a table. The house has three double bedrooms, each outfitted with double beds, wardrobes, desks, tables, chairs, lamps and other amenities. There are two bedrooms on the top floor: 1) The Study and Map Room: divided by a large wardrobe, the front of the room is covered with maps of the Barcelona and Mediterrenean region and has a big worktable in addition to the desk. A bookcase in the room holds an eclectic collection of National Geographics, assorted magazines, books and encyclopeadias. The bedroom in the back has a large wooden bed, sidetables and reading lamps. 2) The Fantasy Room: A large mural featuring a coastal landscape at sunset dominates this room. On the walls are further decorations of planet-type orbs. To minimize clutter in the room there is a large walk-in closet at the end of the room. The room has a double bed, a side table, 2 chairs, a wooden table and a desk. 3) Next to the entrance downstairs is the last bedroom, with double bed, large table, dresser and shelves. It is possible to sleep two more in the living room on the fold out couch to accomodate 7 or 8 people in total. Perfect for a family, a small company or a group of friends.LGTB friendly. Pets and children are welcome! :) Behind the 3rd room is the artist studio/workshop and where I live/work with my fiancé, a carpenter. We will be on call for whatever questions or problems you may have during your stay, and hope to show you a bit of Barcelona, our favorite city! Internet: 20 mega WIFI.
