It's very clean and has things no hotel can offer. This posting is for use of an entire apartment with a private bedroom, full bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining area and 2 outdoor patios! This awesome apartment building has a killer roof deck with panoramic views of all of NYC and bridges. The building is manned with a 24 HOUR Doorman / Security. The PRICE is $ 200 / night (minimum 5 nights). If you would like it for Friday and Saturday nights and a total of less than 5 nights, it's $ 250/night for Fri/Sat nights, and 200/night for the other nights. If you would like it for 7 nights, it's 200/night for ALL 7 nights. The patio off the kitchen is just perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning with some sun which faces the beautiful courtyard with little to no street noise. The other garden patio is fully lavished with greenery and a koi pond. If you're the physical type, there is a gym (free) for your use in the basement of the building as well as a laundry room (coin operated), vending machines and ATM as well. The unit has a fully stocked kitchen: full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas stove/oven, microwave, top of the line stainless cookware, utensils, dishware, glassware and a full private bathroom. The Building and Neighborhood: This building complex has 125 units, mostly 2 bedrooms, but this is a special 3 BR Duplex with outdoor patios! This neighborhood is very lively after the sun goes down. The East Village has been heavily built up over the last 5 years and located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan. The East Village offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and a beautiful park. You can walk to Indian, Russian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vegetarian and American restaurants within a 5 block radius. If you're too tired and beat up from touring NYC and don't feel like going anywhere, you can simply order in and have anything delivered to the room (usually until 11 pm or midnight). And these little privately owned restaurants are MUCH better than midtown/tourist-trap food chain places. There are at least three 24/hr places to eat within 1 block. This building is one of only a few in the neighborhood that has a doorman and an elevator. About 95% of the buildings in the area are walk-ups. Your home away from home will provide the NYC experience not soon forgotten: the spectacular panoramic view of NYC on the roof deck (elevator and outdoor furniture up there), 2 private patios in the unit, a huge courtyard in middle of complex, about 50 restaurant/bars/cafe's within a 3 block radius and probably 500 within a 10 block radius. Enjoy a beautiful park (Tompkins Square) at the end of the block and an East River waterfront park about 4 streets/blocks to the east. For additional fees, I can act as chauffeur to pick-up/drop off @ airport (depending on my work schedule/arrival time), take you to attractions in NYC, on Long Island, Catskills, Hamptons, etc.. I can be your personal tour guide to all the tourist attractions, as well as to the cool, not-in-the-guide-books places for nightlife or dinner. Incredibly convenient if you are visiting or working in Burbank, Studio City, or NoHo, and a quick ride to downtown too. The space itself is amazing. The living room has an almost cathedral-like feel – huge and sunny with a double-height barrel ceiling, giant windows and hardwood floors. On clear days (which is almost every day in Southern California!), sunlight floods the room and makes for a truly wonderful place to relax or tweak your screenplay. The apartment is stylishly furnished and includes both wireless internet and a 37” LCD HDTV flat panel TV and DVD player. The open kitchen has everything you need to cook at home – including a microwave, four-burner gas stove, coffeemaker and toaster – and enjoy your meal at the adjacent dining table with seating for four. In the bedroom you’ll find a new, queen-sized bed with fresh cotton sheets and a fluffy comforter. You may come and go as you please at any hour of the day or night without the fear of disturbing us, as you have your own entrance and do not go through the main house at all. Enjoy this fabulous super sunny master bedroom studio, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on huge fenced tiled patio with fruit trees and gardens. I am most welcoming, yet unobtrusive, so that you will find this to be a comfortable oasis. Of course, I am close by for any questions, advice, requests or needs. You will enter through a front gate,walk down the adobe paver path lit with motion-sensor spots, through the heirloom roses, which are highly scented when in bloom. No need to go through the main house, as the studio is completely separate from the rest of the main house, (although attached by one wall.) Super-private and very quiet, except for the birds, yet centrally located five minutes to downtown Monterey, Laguna Seca Raceway or CSUMB and ten minutes to Monterey Bay Aquarium. There is a 24-hour Safeway and Walgreens just 2 minutes away, in case you have any midnight cravings! Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are 10 minutes away, We are located in a wonderful little sun belt, perched high upon a hilltop with a nice view of Monterey Bay in a very quiet neighborhood, so typically we are above any fog – especially during the summer season when the rest of the Monterey Peninsula could be socked-in! We are at the top of a street which ends in a culdesac so there is not a lot of through traffic and super-easy street parking. Freshly painted in a soothing palette and tastefully furnished, the studio is comprised of large sunny master bedroom with hardwood floors and your own private updated Travertine marble bathroom (shower - no tub) supplied with fluffy towels, hairdryer and high-quality toiletries. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of patio, creating a sunny and bright ambiance. A closet with excellent storage, dimmer switch for the overhead chandelier, a writing table and small flatscreen TV with remote control plus wi-fi make your stay complete. You'll find award-winning, locally made organic fair-trade chocolates by your bedside. The studio is heated through vents by a gas forced-air furnace, (controlled by the thermostat located in the main house) and if you need extra heat, there are more blankets plus a space heater in the closet for your total comfort. It rarely gets that cold here, but if we do get a cold snap in Jan or Feb I want you to be totally comfortable! Sleep peacefully in the Queen-sized bed outfitted with 100% cotton linens (line dried when possible) and cozy blankets, then enjoy breakfast outside on the patio when weather permits. The kitchenette/breakfast bar includes a new microwave, toaster oven and a coffeemaker for exceptional (really!) locally roasted FairTrade organic coffee, a selection of teas, honey, granola and homemade organic jam. In the under-the-counter fridge, you'll find bottled water, organic yogurt and organic cream for coffee it also has a separate freezer compartment with ice trays (not inside of the fridge), big enough for frozen foods and ice cream. Access is through the large fenced-in beautiful, sunny patio in the backyard, filled with organic raised bed vegetable gardens which change seasonally, fruit trees and roses. This is a great area, centrally located between Highway One and Highway 68, near the rec trail, Frog Pond, beaches and terrific hills for a morning or evening stroll. No smoking inside – okay on patio. Dogs allowed with extra charge of $25. per pet per stay (not per night.) A sophisticated foodie and twenty-year resident of the Monterey Peninsula, I am a great resource of information if needed. Also, the studio is also equipped with lots of books on the area and a binder with menus from my favorite restaurants, brochures and information on local attractions. There is a great brand new fully equipped gym 2 minutes away for those who want to get their workout in. All visits come with a free pass to one of our local wine tasting rooms! Organic vegetable gardening classes are available as well as private custom designed tours of the Monterey Peninsula, depending upon your interests. If you need restaurant recommendations prior to arrival, I am happy to oblige. Awnings are in place rain or shine you can entertain on the patio. 5 bedrooms each with its full bathroom. 3 water heater make sure everyone gets a hot shower. 5 LCD TV's in each bedroom. Remote control ceiling fans. (1) 50 inch plasma LG in living room with blu-ray player. Still working on getting all the ipod docks. I believe as of today we have 3 docks installed in bedroom and 1 dock out at the bar. 4 lounger chairs, next to our 6 person hot tub. The entire apartment was redone opening the living room up to entertain in a space that doesn't have a comp on the Medellin market. AREA: Poblado, south, 3 blocks from avenida poblado and behind avenida las vegas. Next store to the body tech gym with the pool where all the beautiful people go, lol. Two local restaurants across the street are perfect for cheap good local eats. Getting to Parque lleras by cab takes about 7 minutes without crazy traffic. Frontera Mall is two blocks away Oveida mall took me 20 minutes to walk to. Taxi's can be called from the apartment or picked up on either poblado or las vegas streets. ATM's can be also found on Las Vegas and Poblado. When you compare the quality of service offered by the Four Season’s and the services of Ruben at Poblado Rentals, I would take Ruben every day. He is there to help you with whatever you need, never having to wait, just “at your service.” My unit was comfortable, and had everything that you needed to feel at home. First of all this is an enormous place spanning two floors. I couldn't get over how big this seemed. The deck itself is bigger than most of the apartments I have stayed in. The location is south of the Santafe Mall by about ten minutes walking. Next door is a historic church that hosts weddings on the weekends. I felt safe walking around during the day but didn't walk around too much at night -- even though there were people around -- there is a popular gym next door. I don't recommend walking anywhere at night othan than Park Lleras and only on the main streets there. Back to the apartment -- the manager met me at the entrance and introduced me to the Porters. From the point on everytime I walked up to the gate the Porters immediately had it opened for me. The service was great. The interior of the apartment is nicely decorated TVs and Ipod docks in every room. The showers all had hot water and good water pressure. I would recoomed this apartment to couples, families, friends, and groups. A solo traveler would find this apartment to be huge -- almost too much space. I stayed here with my girlfriend and we didn't venture into probably three rooms the entire time -- it is that big. It is roughly the same price as a single room at the Royal Medellin, Intercontinental, or Dann Carlton but here you get multiple bedrooms, privacy, and a huge deck and hottub with an amazing view. Trust me you will only thank me if you stay here.
