Description:This holiday home is a self catering house with 180 degrees sea views and is located 100 meters from the bathing area St James Tidal Pool. Built in 1918 this home has retained some features while being refurbished with modern in facilities. Twee Gevels (Two Gabels) is situated halfway between Kalk Bay and Muizenberg and offers a spacious and luxurious home optimizing the uninterrupted sea views while being in close proximity of all tourist attractions False Bay area has to offer. Twee Gevels is situated across the road from the beach with closest swimming area 100 meters away. The living areas of this grand old lady as well as three bedrooms offer sea views. A sea facing veranda across the width of the house is ideal for outdoor living while a library/2nd lounge with authentic fire place provides a cosy space in less than perfect weather conditions. The villa has been furnished to reflect the colours and clean lines of the ocean. Open living spaces characterize this home with kitchen, lounge and dining room all flowing on to veranda with spectacular views. Main Bedroom: (Queen) offers 45 sq meters of space and en suite with bath, shower, wc, bidet and basin. Bedroom 2: (Queen) has private patio and en suite with shower, wc and basin. The low veranda barrister makes this property not ideal for small children. Outdoors Veranda offers seaviews and ideal for entertaining. This area is quipped with portable barbeque and garden furniture. A private patio leading from bedroom 2 provides space for quiet moments. A double lock up garage is available for safe keeping of two vehicles as well as sports equipment. The house has 24 hours armed response to ensure a safe stay. Immediate area: Western Cape enjoys mild winters and pleasant summers, rainfall is moderate throughout the year and there are refreshing sea breezes. Golden vineyards, sun drenched orchards, beaches, silent forests, sweeping lakes and beautiful views make this region a delight, not to mention the wealth of entertainment and industry that Cape Town offers. There is something for everyone from shopping to fishing and adventure trails, swimming and sunbathing on the False Bay Coast. From Muizenburg to Kalk Bay is a busy main street with market stalls, antique shops, art galleries as well stalls on the pavements. The most notable feature of False Bay must be the golden, sandy beaches lapped by the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. The area has a fabulous selection of great restaurants specializing mainly in delicious seafood. The long Muizenburg and Fish Hoek beaches are but two of the safest in the Cape for bathing and bodyboarding and, when the wind picks up, hobie cats and windsurfers take to the waves. From July to October whales come into False Bay and loll around just 50 metres from the shore in preparation for mating and giving birth. Huge schools of dolphins are also sometimes seen. It's very clean and has things no hotel can offer. This posting is for use of an entire apartment with a private bedroom, full bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining area and 2 outdoor patios! This awesome apartment building has a killer roof deck with panoramic views of all of NYC and bridges. The building is manned with a 24 HOUR Doorman / Security. The PRICE is $ 200 / night (minimum 5 nights). If you would like it for Friday and Saturday nights and a total of less than 5 nights, it's $ 250/night for Fri/Sat nights, and 200/night for the other nights. If you would like it for 7 nights, it's 200/night for ALL 7 nights. The patio off the kitchen is just perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning with some sun which faces the beautiful courtyard with little to no street noise. If you're too tired and beat up from touring NYC and don't feel like going anywhere, you can simply order in and have anything delivered to the room (usually until 11 pm or midnight). And these little privately owned restaurants are MUCH better than midtown/tourist-trap food chain places. There are at least three 24/hr places to eat within 1 block. This building is one of only a few in the neighborhood that has a doorman and an elevator. About 95% of the buildings in the area are walk-ups. Description:Faye's Place, affectionately named after our beloved Granny. This contemporary one bedroom, one bath guest house, was fully renovated in 2009. It has an open floor plan with one large bedroom with a queen size bed, and a convertible sofa in the living room with a full sized bed. There is a large bathroom with tub and shower. Description:Hello, I have a private 2 bedroom apartment for rent in the Sunny Mission District. I also rent just the master bedroom or a private 1 bedroom apartment which you can see by clicking on my picture and scrolling down that page. The apartment has one master bedroom, a second bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, the big outdoor patio, and a huge roof deck which has gorgeous views day or night. The living room has a LCD projector and a large 6' x 6' movie screen which rolls down and back up when not in use. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences including crushed marble countertops, dishwasher, gas stove, disposal, juicer, and even a cute built-in wine rack. It has everything one might need to bake or make a gourmet meal. The bath is finished in marble, has a pedestal sink, a deluge showerhead, and a marble bench in the shower in case you feel like a steam bath. The master bedroom is big and has a queen size bed, plenty of storage in the closet, bookcase, bureau, and bedside tables. It has a big sliding glass door that opens onto a 15ft x 20ft garden patio with BBQ and fire-pit. The second bedroom has a large window which faces a small green area, queen size bed, and a custom-made mini armoire/closet that locks for security. The apartment is about a 5 minute drive from either the 101 or 280 freeway and a 5 minute walk to grocery stores, a hardware store, fruit market, post office, UPS, CPMC/St. Luke's Hospital, museums, galleries, places for kids, all kinds of restaurants, a swimming pool, banks, clubs, underground places, a movie theater, fun dives, bookstores, parks, clothing stores, thrift shops, and the library. In other words, everything is very close and convenient. MUNI / Public transportation is half a block away on Mission Street or Valencia, BART is 5 blocks away, and the J Church street car is 2 blocks away. Downtown can be reached in about 20-25 minutes by public transportation. If you park west of my apartment you only have to move your car once a week for street cleaning the rest is 2 hour parking or metered. There is also a big roof deck for everyone to use with BBQ, weights, a weight bench, and of course, incredible views. I'm about a 30 minute walk to San Francisco General Hospital or a 10 minute bike ride and UCSF has free shuttles that go to all their other sites. That is the closest shuttle pickup just in case you're coming to SF for a fellowship or internship. 's closest shuttle pickup is only three blocks away in case you're here to work there either for an internship or permanently, or if you want to use that service to get down the peninsula, (for example, I believe they have a stop at Stanford/Palo Alto). Description:Rent my duplex during sxsw--ideal location! SXSW Inf I am a 5 minute cab ride to downtown, with a bus stop a few blocks away. You can feasibly walk to Auditorium Shores, Zilker Park, and even downtown (it would be a bit of a hike, but doable). I am an easy walk to a number of bars/restaurants on South Lamar where you will find some SX parties, and a really quick bus/taxi ride to South Congress where you'll find tons of SX parties. My duplex accommodates 4 comfortably. The duplex is a 2-bedroom, 1 bath unit, with free wi-fi, full-sized washer/dryer, and large outdoor patio/backyard. The second bedroom is being used as a study, but will have a full-size air mattress to easily accommodate 2 additional guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences. The backyard has a gas grill, modern covered patio area with couches/table, and big backyard. Smoking is ok outside. The carport will easily accomodate 2 cars, with lots of additional parking on the street.
