The living room has an almost cathedral-like feel – huge and sunny with a double-height barrel ceiling, giant windows and hardwood floors. On clear days (which is almost every day in Southern California!), sunlight floods the room and makes for a truly wonderful place to relax or tweak your screenplay. The apartment is stylishly furnished and includes both wireless internet and a 37” LCD HDTV flat panel TV and DVD player. The open kitchen has everything you need to cook at home – including a microwave, four-burner gas stove, coffeemaker and toaster – and enjoy your meal at the adjacent dining table with seating for four. In the bedroom you’ll find a new, queen-sized bed with fresh cotton sheets and a fluffy comforter. The elegant, modern Design Within Reach couch in the living room also folds down into a bed, which can sleep two additional guests. Description:The condo is located in beautiful and laid back Pacific Beach. The location is great, La Jolla and Birdrock are a short distance away, and even the San Diego Zoo and Sea World are a short driving distance away. There is a public transportation bus stop is on the corner of our street and once on the bus, you can transfer to another bus or the trolley to get to any part of San Diego. The condo is on the third level of a three story building with views of Mt. Soledad from the private balcony (a great place to sip morning coffee). The patio furniture on the balcony is top notch, as it is in the rest of the condo. There is a large, comfortable sectional sofa in the living room and barstools that face the kitchen. The kitchen is also upscale, with marble countertops and stainless steel appliances. All of the esstentials are provided (pots, pans, spices, utensils, juicer, blender, pretty much everything). The kitchen also contains a full-size refrigerator and dishwasher. As far as entertaiment goes the possiblities are endless. San Diego is a great vacation destination for every age. The San Diego Zoo and Sea World are both within a short drive or bus ride. The famous Tourmaline Surf Park is within walking distance, and just outside the condo are the sweet sounds of live jazz from The Tourquoise. The condo is at the ocean end of a string of shops and cafes that make up north Pacific Beach. For entertainment inside the condo, there is a 46 LCD flatscreen with HD and DVD player. Our downstairs area includes a step-down living area off the kitchen and smaller second deck also overlooking the pool and beach. A second full bathroom is located on this floor. This condo is very nice out of your ordinary fully remodeled two story Junior Penthouse condo unit in an amazing location over the beach.fall asleep at night to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach below. We are looking to find someone who values something nice and will take care of it while there. We remodeled this for ourselves and have typically spent the winter months living there but will only be able to stay for a short while over the Winter this year due to other commitments.
