Description:Faye's Place, affectionately named after our beloved Granny. This contemporary one bedroom, one bath guest house, was fully renovated in 2009. It has an open floor plan with one large bedroom with a queen size bed, and a convertible sofa in the living room with a full sized bed. There is a large bathroom with tub and shower. The fully functional kitchen includes dishware, cooking necessities and a full sized stove with oven, refrigerator and Keurig coffee machine (coffee pods are provided during your stay). All linens, cookware (pots, pans, dishes, etc) are provided. The guest house has all the conveniences of home including a full sized washer and dryer, . Description:Large spacious apartment in one of the best kept secrets in London: Clerkenwell. This area is possibly the best location for all corners of London: great for the City, the West End, East End, and, hey - it's in central London, Zone 1, so it makes traveling around that bit cheaper. The apartment is set on a quiet residential street, so it is oh, so, so quiet. Two double bedrooms and a large living room gives plenty of space for four people (only two double beds) so the flat is suitable for either two couples or four close friends. Description:Hello, I have a private 2 bedroom apartment for rent in the Sunny Mission District. I also rent just the master bedroom or a private 1 bedroom apartment which you can see by clicking on my picture and scrolling down that page. The apartment has one master bedroom, a second bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, the big outdoor patio, and a huge roof deck which has gorgeous views day or night. The living room has a LCD projector and a large 6' x 6' movie screen which rolls down and back up when not in use. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences including crushed marble countertops, dishwasher, gas stove, disposal, juicer, and even a cute built-in wine rack. It has everything one might need to bake or make a gourmet meal. The bath is finished in marble, has a pedestal sink, a deluge showerhead, and a marble bench in the shower in case you feel like a steam bath. The master bedroom is big and has a queen size bed, plenty of storage in the closet, bookcase, bureau, and bedside tables. It has a big sliding glass door that opens onto a 15ft x 20ft garden patio with BBQ and fire-pit. The second bedroom has a large window which faces a small green area, queen size bed, and a custom-made mini armoire/closet that locks for security. The apartment is about a 5 minute drive from either the 101 or 280 freeway and a 5 minute walk to grocery stores, a hardware store, fruit market, post office, UPS, CPMC/St. Luke's Hospital, museums, galleries, places for kids, all kinds of restaurants, a swimming pool, banks, clubs, underground places, a movie theater, fun dives, bookstores, parks, clothing stores, thrift shops, and the library. In other words, everything is very close and convenient. MUNI / Public transportation is half a block away on Mission Street or Valencia, BART is 5 blocks away, and the J Church street car is 2 blocks away. Downtown can be reached in about 20-25 minutes by public transportation. If you park west of my apartment you only have to move your car once a week for street cleaning the rest is 2 hour parking or metered. There is also a big roof deck for everyone to use with BBQ, weights, a weight bench, and of course, incredible views. I'm about a 30 minute walk to San Francisco General Hospital or a 10 minute bike ride and UCSF has free shuttles that go to all their other sites. That is the closest shuttle pickup just in case you're coming to SF for a fellowship or internship. 's closest shuttle pickup is only three blocks away in case you're here to work there either for an internship or permanently, or if you want to use that service to get down the peninsula, (for example, I believe they have a stop at Stanford/Palo Alto). There is also a mainline station and underground on the district line at Richmond. Other nearby attractions include Hampton Court, Ham House, Twickenham Rugby stadium, Kingston, Marble Hill Park. Your stay includes wi-fi, towels and bed linen. This rental includes the entire flat. The bedroom is lovely and bright – contains a double bed for one or two people and there is a comfortable pull-out sofa in the living room for up to 2 additional people. The rest of the flat is yours as well: kitchen with dining table and all the amenities such as kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine, a living room area with flat screen TV (with video games and DVD player) and a bathroom with bathtub/shower, toilet and sink. We also have a lovely patio off the living room with loads of herbs and other plants. Some of the best food - Italian, Ethiopian, Japanese, Thai, and even Afghani can be found within a ten minute walk of the apartment. Live music and theatre, and a plethora of boutiques, coffee shops and pubs are also just a few minutes away. Located in Islington between Dalston and Highbury, we are less than a minute’s walk to Essex Road, with excellent bus transport links to anywhere in Central London and a 10 minute walk (or 5 minute bus ride) to 3 tube stations: Highbury & Islington (Victoria line), Angel (Northern line), or Dalston Junction (East London line). Direct bus connections to British Museum, Picadilly Circus, Selfridges, Oxford Circus, Covent Garden, St Paul's Cathedral, Waterloo (Big Ben, Westminster, London Eye). Also very near Shoreditch, Hoxton and Old Street areas for London's best nightlife. We are also located about a 25 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride away from Kings Cross/St Pancras train station (for Eurostar).
