It's very clean and has things no hotel can offer. This posting is for use of an entire apartment with a private bedroom, full bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining area and 2 outdoor patios! This awesome apartment building has a killer roof deck with panoramic views of all of NYC and bridges. The building is manned with a 24 HOUR Doorman / Security. The PRICE is $ 200 / night (minimum 5 nights). If you would like it for Friday and Saturday nights and a total of less than 5 nights, it's $ 250/night for Fri/Sat nights, and 200/night for the other nights. If you would like it for 7 nights, it's 200/night for ALL 7 nights. The patio off the kitchen is just perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning with some sun which faces the beautiful courtyard with little to no street noise. The other garden patio is fully lavished with greenery and a koi pond. If you're the physical type, there is a gym (free) for your use in the basement of the building as well as a laundry room (coin operated), vending machines and ATM as well. The unit has a fully stocked kitchen: full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas stove/oven, microwave, top of the line stainless cookware, utensils, dishware, glassware and a full private bathroom. The Building and Neighborhood: This building complex has 125 units, mostly 2 bedrooms, but this is a special 3 BR Duplex with outdoor patios! This neighborhood is very lively after the sun goes down. The East Village has been heavily built up over the last 5 years and located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan. The East Village offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and a beautiful park. You can walk to Indian, Russian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vegetarian and American restaurants within a 5 block radius. If you're too tired and beat up from touring NYC and don't feel like going anywhere, you can simply order in and have anything delivered to the room (usually until 11 pm or midnight). And these little privately owned restaurants are MUCH better than midtown/tourist-trap food chain places. There are at least three 24/hr places to eat within 1 block. This building is one of only a few in the neighborhood that has a doorman and an elevator. About 95% of the buildings in the area are walk-ups. Your home away from home will provide the NYC experience not soon forgotten: the spectacular panoramic view of NYC on the roof deck (elevator and outdoor furniture up there), 2 private patios in the unit, a huge courtyard in middle of complex, about 50 restaurant/bars/cafe's within a 3 block radius and probably 500 within a 10 block radius. Enjoy a beautiful park (Tompkins Square) at the end of the block and an East River waterfront park about 4 streets/blocks to the east. For additional fees, I can act as chauffeur to pick-up/drop off @ airport (depending on my work schedule/arrival time), take you to attractions in NYC, on Long Island, Catskills, Hamptons, etc.. I can be your personal tour guide to all the tourist attractions, as well as to the cool, not-in-the-guide-books places for nightlife or dinner. ADDITIONAL INFO / CHARGES: For stays of more than 7 nights, a small deposit will be required pending on length of requested stay. The room is for a single person or couple. There is a couch and an aerobed for 2 additional people. Additional guests more than 2 are $ 30 per person per night. Cleaning charges: As long as there isn't any excessive cleaning that is necessary, there is no charge. Linens: Clean when you arrive. If you wish to clean sheets WHILE you are here, there is a laundry room in the basement to do yourself. Towels: One clean bath towel and washcloth per day per person. Incredibly convenient if you are visiting or working in Burbank, Studio City, or NoHo, and a quick ride to downtown too. The space itself is amazing. The living room has an almost cathedral-like feel – huge and sunny with a double-height barrel ceiling, giant windows and hardwood floors. On clear days (which is almost every day in Southern California!), sunlight floods the room and makes for a truly wonderful place to relax or tweak your screenplay. The apartment is stylishly furnished and includes both wireless internet and a 37” LCD HDTV flat panel TV and DVD player. The open kitchen has everything you need to cook at home – including a microwave, four-burner gas stove, coffeemaker and toaster – and enjoy your meal at the adjacent dining table with seating for four. In the bedroom you’ll find a new, queen-sized bed with fresh cotton sheets and a fluffy comforter. The elegant, modern Design Within Reach couch in the living room also folds down into a bed, which can sleep two additional guests. We went the extra mile to add a few reflections of our own passions (design, film, literature, music) so you’ll find nice touches like framed Nama Rococo French Dot Wall Paper and Blik wall murals in addition to selection of well-chosen books, films, and great rock ‘n roll to help you feel inspired. I have been an Airbnb host since 2009 and I love hosting people from all over the world. So let me tell you about my guest house..... Where is the guest house located? The guest house is centrally located in the Hancock Park/Korea town area of Los Angeles. It is 5 minutes from the charm of Larchmont Village and Paramount Studios, 12 minutes from downtown LA , 12 minutes to Beverly Hills and 20 minutes from Universal Studios. I am close to major freeways and cross streets that can get you anywhere you need to go. For those who don’t wish to drive in LA, I am walking distance to Olympic Boulevard which is serviced by major bus lines going east and west. What is the guest house like? The guest house is a large, entirely renovated studio style apartment located on the second floor with its own outdoor patio overlooking a large flowering garden. It is completely detached from the main house ensuring total privacy and is located down a gated driveway with its own private and secure entry. The terrace faces south and is covered in flowering jasmine and bougainvillea and is perfect for an early morning coffee or an evening glass of wine under the stars. What is inside the guest house? Pleased you asked! There’s….. • a gorgeous and comfortable Queen sized bed with fresh linens. I also have a queen air mattress for those of you who don’t wish to share a bed! • a closet with hanging space for your dresses and shirts, a chest of drawers and ample space for your bags. • a beautiful marble bathroom with a large shower (no tub). • soft and fluffy hotel style towels and a hair dryer, iron and ironing board are provided. • a port a crib in case you need it for your little one. • a granite kitchen with a 2 burner cook top, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator (under bench), coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils, plates, glasses, cutlery etc. All of this is perfect for cooking breakfast before you head out to see LA. • free broadband internet. • a flat screen TV with Basic Cable and HBO package (PPV requires an extra charge) • air conditioning to keep you cool and heat to keep you cozy and warm. • easy, free and safe street parking on a wide quiet street right in front of the main house. What else do I need to know about the guest house before I book? THIS IS THE IMPORTANT STUFF ... • The USD85 per night does not include Los Angeles City Hotel Tax which is currently 14% of the room rate on a per night basis. You need to pay the tax separately when you arrive and I’ll deal with the hassle of paying the City. • To cover that broken plate, stray cigarette burn or any other damage, I require a USD200 security deposit. It is refundable at the end of your stay and so far I have returned everyone’s security deposit in full! • No smoking inside the guest house - but there is a lovely terrace where you may smoke outside and enjoy a view over the garden. So much nicer, don’t you think? • Please check my calendar before you book! I keep it up to date and I hate to disappoint you when you ask for dates that are already booked. I take bookings on a first come first served basis -as much as i might love you, I don't hold the space - if in doubt - please book and then cancel within a reasonable time in advance. • I love animals, but I don’t allow them in the guest house unless you arrange that with me in advance. Description:This apartment is in one of the most sought after locations in San Francisco. Our apartment is modern, comfortable, open. The apartment is an upper flat on the second story, has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. we have new designer furniture all throughout the house as well as new patio furniture. The flat has great views, and a huge private deck with BBQ grill and seating. The flat is located in between the Mission and Castro areas. It's one of the best neighborhoods in San Francisco, right next to Mission Dolores and the Castro theater. The living room is a great size with stylish and comfortable furniture and art. There is a large 44 flat screen TV, full cable, Netflix, Apple Tv, Wii, PS3, and hundreds of DVD's. We have a great library of books for you to read as well, including amazing cook books in the kitchen. We have Wifi as well with a super fast connection. One bedroom has a full bed with very comfortable mattress and dresser, closet, as well as partial views of Twin Peaks. The 2nd bedroom has a closet, desk, and queen size bed also with a very comfortable mattress. The kitchen has a breakfast nook for lounging as well as reakfast bar. There will be everything you need to cook. Olive oils, utensils, cooking supplies. There's a dishwasher, full oven, microwave and toaster. The neighborhood is safe, friendly, warmer than most areas in SF and everything you need or want is literally within minutes walk or drive. Both 280 and 101 freeways are within a 5 minute drive. Muni and BART are also within a 5-10 minute walk. We're 15 min to downtown via public transportation. If you have a car you should get a temporary parking pass for the neighborhood zone, for $32 for a 2 week pass. It's very central and the best place to get to different districts with ease. During your stay you'll have all the conveniences of home, including coin-op laundry just down stairs. There's a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook etc. I'm 29, own a lifestyle management company. My boyfriend is 31 and owns his own graphic design company.
