Description:A newly build cottage less than an hour drive from exciting Reykjavik. The cottage is located by the lake Úlfljótsvatn which is next to Thingvellir, the national park. Also close to other famous landmarks such as Gullfoss and Geysir. The cottage is 114 m2 and three stories high. On the Main floor there is a fully-equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, microwave, toast, oven/stove, with a dining area next to the kitchen seating up to 8. And a bathroom with a shower . Up in the sleeping loft there are 2 separate bedrooms with one queen size tempur bed and one king size bed. There is one room in the basement with a queen size tempur bed. If you feel more like a quiet, relaxing evening we have a 42” widescreen televsion, DVD & CD player and a small selection of DVD's, books, board games and toys for the kids. The kitchen has a gas stove, electric oven, large fridge-freezer and dishwasher (no microwave) and is fully equipped to cater for groups. We have a separate bathroom (shower only) and toilet. The laundry area has a washing machine and inside and outside drying facilities but no tumble dryer. There is a two-bay carport, ample space for additional cars, boats or trailers and we can also provide grazing for your horses if necessary.
