Built in 1918 this home has retained some features while being refurbished with modern in facilities. A sea facing veranda across the width of the house is ideal for outdoor living while a library/2nd lounge with authentic fire place provides a cosy space in less than perfect weather conditions. The villa has been furnished to reflect the colours and clean lines of the ocean. Description:Hello, I have a private 2 bedroom apartment for rent in the Sunny Mission District. I also rent just the master bedroom or a private 1 bedroom apartment which you can see by clicking on my picture and scrolling down that page. The apartment has one master bedroom, a second bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, the big outdoor patio, and a huge roof deck which has gorgeous views day or night. The living room has a LCD projector and a large 6' x 6' movie screen which rolls down and back up when not in use. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences including crushed marble countertops, dishwasher, gas stove, disposal, juicer, and even a cute built-in wine rack. It has everything one might need to bake or make a gourmet meal. The bath is finished in marble, has a pedestal sink, a deluge showerhead, and a marble bench in the shower in case you feel like a steam bath. The master bedroom is big and has a queen size bed, plenty of storage in the closet, bookcase, bureau, and bedside tables. It has a big sliding glass door that opens onto a 15ft x 20ft garden patio with BBQ and fire-pit. The second bedroom has a large window which faces a small green area, queen size bed, and a custom-made mini armoire/closet that locks for security. The apartment is about a 5 minute drive from either the 101 or 280 freeway and a 5 minute walk to grocery stores, a hardware store, fruit market, post office, UPS, CPMC/St. Luke's Hospital, museums, galleries, places for kids, all kinds of restaurants, a swimming pool, banks, clubs, underground places, a movie theater, fun dives, bookstores, parks, clothing stores, thrift shops, and the library. In other words, everything is very close and convenient. MUNI / Public transportation is half a block away on Mission Street or Valencia, BART is 5 blocks away, and the J Church street car is 2 blocks away. Downtown can be reached in about 20-25 minutes by public transportation. If you park west of my apartment you only have to move your car once a week for street cleaning the rest is 2 hour parking or metered. There is also a big roof deck for everyone to use with BBQ, weights, a weight bench, and of course, incredible views. I'm about a 30 minute walk to San Francisco General Hospital or a 10 minute bike ride and UCSF has free shuttles that go to all their other sites. That is the closest shuttle pickup just in case you're coming to SF for a fellowship or internship. 's closest shuttle pickup is only three blocks away in case you're here to work there either for an internship or permanently, or if you want to use that service to get down the peninsula, (for example, I believe they have a stop at Stanford/Palo Alto). Description:We have beautiful 1 bedroom flat in posh Nob Hill (2 blocks above Union Square) with it's own private patio and secret garden, a truly rare find in the city. Located at the back of a historic art deco building from 1928, we get little to no street noise, and all of our windows look out on to greenery creating a lovely sense of privacy. You cannot beat the location of this flat. Right in the heart of downtown. The flat is large with a nice comfy couch and a full sized bed so you could easily have 2-4 people stay. Fully equipped kitchen, laundry in building and full wireless capabilities for your internetting. Also, we have a very large flat screen TV with Netflix and Hulu as well as a DVD library in the 300 range, all very pleasant after a long day/night in the city. No cable, sorry. Neighborhood is fantastic for a visitor to our beautiful city! We are 3 blocks from Union Square, 2 blocks to the famous cable car that takes you to North Beach and the Wharf, walking distance to both major train systems (muni and bart) as well as 4 blocks from the famous Geary St pub crawl area which is crammed with lots of great bars and lounges from upscale to fabulously divey. Happy to leave a little guide to the neiborhood for those interested. About booking, Please introduce yourself with an inquiry or email first. If it's for Thanksgiving weekend, we will be leaving and may need to have a friend check you in.
