Description:Townsend Lodge: Is located right in the middle of Townsend. Belinda & Terry of River stone Lodge Purchased this Motel August of 2008 and we have made every tempt to make it as unique as River stone Lodge. First we have built a large wood deck across the front with a nice fire pit. We have a campfire every night which everyone just loves. Roasting marsh mellows, hot dogs & making smores is just awsome. Plenty of outdoor furniture on deck making it comfortable to relax and watch the old cars & motorcycles riding by. Really nice, private swimming pool clean & beautiful. New carpet every room, new renovation with antique furniture & 32 flat screen TVs in every room. We are within just minutes of everything to do here in the Smokes. We are 1 mile from the entrance to the National Park. Cades Cove is approx. 8 miles from here. Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg are less that a 30 minute beautiful drive. This is just a great place.
