Description:Staying with Arif was a fantastic experience. The room/bathroom were perfect - well cleaned, very comfortable and air conditioned (which is needed in Singapore) I stayed with the Khan family for 10 weeks during a summer internship. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. They welcomed me with open arms Great host. Very welcoming. Emails / messages are answered promptly. Thank you Arif and to your family! My stay at Arif's was lovely and I was made to feel part of the family, As I understand Arif's family has recently moved to this new flat in vicinity of Marymount MRT on CC line. Arif's family are intelligent and nice local working professionals and business people, who advised me not only on local amenities, but also shared tips on how business and house hunting is done in Singapore, as I'm coming for a longer stay here next year. My room, WC and shower (as the whole flat) was brand new and modernly designed. The room has a fan and Air Con and black-out type curtains so I could easily sleep my European jet-lag off till the noon. Within walking distance is Thomson Plaza (supermarket) as well as Chinese street eateries that work till midnight so I could have my dinner according to European schedule. We've moved recently and we have two really nice, clean, bright and cozy rooms to rent as there is more than enough space in the house. The house itself has the following A spacious Living Room4 Bedrooms (2 of which are for rent) and 1 storage room. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. 2 Toilets (The toilets will be shared and they are not attached to your room. We keep them really clean, so please be considerate)A kitchen with ovens, toasters, gas, etc High-speed Wifi We can accept guests for a minimum period of 6 month stays. The neighborhood is lively and safe with plenty of eateries and signature places around. The place is near nature, parks, and also train stations and bus stops will conveniently get you around Singapore effortlessly. Room FacilitiesYour room comes equipped with a spacious wardrobe, a cabinet, a study desk, etc, free high-speed Wifi. AmenitiesAmenities nearby include a a 15-20 minute walk to the MRT station. The newly opened circle line also adds to your convenience as you can now zip around Singapore effortlessly. The Nearest MRT station is Marymount MRT station (CC7) There is a bus-stop 2 minutes from the house that will get you to town really easily and you're pretty much smack in the centre of Singapore. The area is extremely safe, as is the rest of Singapore. There is a convenience store near by, a gigantic shopping mall where you can get almost everything, parks to walk around and there is a Gym and stadium about 10-15 minutes from the house where you can exercise and do the heavy lifting.About us We are a family of four (there is me, my kid brother, my younger sister and my mum) and we're all working adults, with the exception of my younger brother who is serving the country in the Police Force, so don't play play ah! (a singlish term you will learn shortly on arrival) . We also have a domestic helper at home who does the cooking. The house is very spacious as you can see and your room is fully privateType of Guest we would love to have The type of tenant we're looking for is : a family person, respectful and considerate. A working professional sort. We accept couples but you have to be respectful of the family environment. . Murter island and nearby sites Except taking beautiful walks on the beach, exploring the old town and it’s vibrant galleries, souvenir shops, bars and restaurants, taking a hike on many trails through olive tree gardens, First Class Croatia is advising you to visit the following and whatever you choose, if not all, you will not regret it. NATIONAL PARK KRKA The empire of Krka River, the magnificent karstic beauty traveling two thirds of its way to the sea through canyons. On its green path, it has seven falls, the last one being Skradinski buk with an average flow of 55 cubic meters of water per second. National Park Krka is rich in flora and fauna. 222 bird species live there, making it one of the most valuable ornithological areas in Europe. You can visit it by boat, car or on foot. Make sure you visit the ethno museum on one of the old mills. National Park Krka also has the only hawk training center in Croatia where you can see presentations of hunting with hawks and hawk trainers’ skills. KORNATI ISLANDS NATIONAL PARK is a group of about 130 islands, islets and reefs sprinkled in the deep blue sea of the Adriatic covering an area of about 64 square km. The Kornati have no permanent inhabitants, although the present owners from nearby larger Dalmatian islands periodically visit Kornati to tend their vineyards and olive groves, bringing their sheep to graze. The sea around the islands is rich with fish and a variety of marine life.... The islands have no spring water, only rainwater collected in water holes. The unique feature of the islands lies in their rugged shores with many caves and coves. The landscape of chalk limestone is covered with bushes of rosemary, juniper, lavender, thyme, myrtle and sage. Pathways leading to steep and huge cliffs facing the open sea and others gently decline towards the sea, ending in a small bay with a jetty and one or two fishermen's cottages surrounded by pine, olives and fig trees. There are daily boat trips from Sibenik or Murter to Kornati islands. PAKLENICA NATIONAL PARK is Croatian National park that cover the most attractive parts of southern Velebit, as well as its highest peaks, all located in Lika region. Paklenica is an area of unusual contact between the sea and the mountain, rich in natural forests of beech, black pine and mountain pine. Besides making trips to the National Park, exploring the countryside and seeing what sport opportunities there are is also recommended. As already mentioned there are many water sports you can join here like sailing, water skiing, windsurfing...Nautical center is situated in Šibenik where you can get all detailed information. We must not forget diving around Kornati, since it is a really special event, as is also the rafting on the river Cetina. Rafting on the river Cetina is a special adventure where you can see the karst area by the river and test your adventure spirit. We also suggest visiting the nearby Skradin, renting a bike in a rent-a-bike center and exploring the countryside. For the brave and those who search a true adventure there is bungee jumping from the Sibenik Bridge. All who have tried bungee say they would like to try in once more and maybe this is a good opportunity to do this, for the first or some other time. NEARBY CITIES 1. Description:The Manor-House is located in Serra d'El Rei, 70 km north of Lisbon between the cities Obidos and Peniche. The castle was built in 1350 from D. Pedro I. It was exclusively used for hunting and the raising of peacocks and falcons. His son D. Fernando hunted there accompanied by up to ninety mounted Falcon hunters. Later the Paco was extended from D. Nearby are Mesa Verde National Park, the Durango-Silverton narrow gauge railroad, three ski areas (Durango Mountain Resort, Silverton Mountain, and Wolf Creek Ski Area), and natural healing hot spring spas. n nBuilt in 1995-1996, the Lodge itself is a magnificent 6,500 square foot custom log home with expansive wrap-around decks offering views of the majestic La Plata Mountains, the Florida Mesa, and abundant wildlife. Open floor plans, cathedral ceilings, and soaring windows provide views of deer, elk, and wild turkey seen almost daily year-round. Inside the Lodge, seven bedrooms will easily accommodate 20 guests with room for more upon request. n nThe main floor has two full-size sofas as well as additional seating for comfortable relaxation and is situated around a floor to ceiling woodburning river rock fireplace with a large screen satellite television and DVD/VCR. Several entryways provide access to covered decks with panoramic views. Private bedrooms include shared full baths and another half bath with shower just around the corner. The dining area and kitchen on the main floor feature a teak dining table easily seating ten people with additional leaves for expansion. A massive elk antler chandelier adorns the area. n nCustom kitchen and center island features solid granite countertops, a six burner gas range, double ovens, and most everything else even the most discerning gourmet cook will appreciate. The center island provides casual seating. The mudroom offers a full-size washer and dryer, an additional refrigerator, and a large open pantry. n nThe lower living area also has a full-size sofa and chair seating around a second river rock fireplace and satellite television with a DVD/VCR. It hosts four private bedrooms including a kids dorm room with a bassinet and one shared full bath. Two entryways provide access to covered patios. n nTake the log staircase to the upper level and you 'll find the master suite complete with a rustic aspen log frame king-size bed and two private decks with views that will take your breath away. The master bath has a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and double vanity. A spacious walk-in closet that includes an extra sleeping area with a futon and ping pong table is steps away with a secluded place to just be alone with your thoughts and relax. n nAccommodations total two king-size beds, two queen-size beds, one full-size bed, four twin beds, one bunk bed, and two futon sleepers. Radiant in-floor heating is accented by oak hardwoods, carpet, slate, and saltillo tile. n nIn conjunction with the Lodge for larger parties, the 800 sf guesthouse will sleep 4 comfortably.
