Built on the site of an ancient Roman estate radiates peace and harmony with it's surroundings. During construction of the villas has a large number of Roman finds from an expert team of Croatian archaeologists and found most of them can now be seen in the local museum. However, we have also managed our properties in many elements that are found on the site to keep - something that rarely, if ever, happens in other objects. The main cottage is fully equipped with 2 bedrooms (Queen and 2 twin beds) Muskoka room with double sofa bed and 3 piece bathroom with tub) The open concept living room/dining room/kitchen area with vaulted ceilings and flooded with light through large windows will be enjoyed by the whole family.There is plenty of seating on 3 comfortable couches in living room area and there is satellite television, DVD and CD player. A stone fireplace (with an airtight insert) will take chill off cool evenings. The dining table seats 6. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes dishwasher. A large bar with 2 stools separates kitchen from dining room.The deck right across front of cottage is perfect spot for dining, entertaining or simply relaxing and enjoying lake views. A canoe is provided for those who wish to explore the bays and lake while getting some exercise. If you bring your own boat, it can be launched at Bala Park Island, about 1.5 miles away or at Purk's in Bala. The guest cabin, located near cottage is completely self-contained.
