Description:This is a gorgeous property!! The two bedroom cottage 3rd bedroom is private bunkie sits perched on a rock jutting out of the lake. The feeling is that you are in a boat. Towering cliffs line the back of the property. Alex Biro, the previous owner, spent 25 years lovingly carving steps to the top of the cliffs, which allows you to look straight across and see the main cottage on Badour Island. He also carved steps down to the lake and even into the lake, so that you can enter the water gradually, step by step. A comfortable swinging chair sits next to the dock. The dock is made of composite, put in in 2007. There is room for many to lie on it. On the side of the cottage, looking up at the cliffs, is the outdoor hot shower. Ave. and a few minutes' walk to the subway if you need it. Very comfy and quiet, but great location for restaurants, grocery, movie theater, and of course Starbucks. Walk to Harvard Square, take the T to the Freedom Trail, or just stay home in front of the gas fire and read a good book! We are in North Cambridge between Davis Square and Porter Square. Three floors of space, clean and friendly throughout, will accommodate you and your friends or family members. We have a queen bed in one br, single in another br., very comfy fluffy double futon couch in 3rd br., comfy fold out Queen in the TV room, and another queen on the 3rd floor (however it might be chilly, we don't have heat on the 3rd floor per se). Description:This is a fantastic family house that is available over summer from christmas until the end of January. The minimum stay is 2 weeks and you will not be disappointed. It's a very large family home with an outdoor pool, play equipment for children including large trampoline, swing set, climbing frame, a punch bag for the adults and outdoor table and chairs. Upstairs has 4 great bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and seperate toilet (baby cot available too). Downstairs has a very large vegetarian kitchen fully equipped with all utensils,microwave oven, stove etc. An adjoining childrens play room, a living room with tv and dining table, and a parents retreat with ensuite bathroom overlooking the pool. Amazing! We have wireless internet, car park on site or plenty of parking space around the house. We are surrounded by public transport. The number 64 tram is at the end of our street and heads straight to the city.
