Description:This beach home has been in our family since 1972. It has its own beach on Osoyoos Lake, Canada's warmest and cleanest fresh water lake. It is quite mild hear year round. Last winter there was almost no snow at all. Summers are usually very warm, in the 80's- high 90's F. There is a large rear yard, streetside with a 100 ft driveway and mature cedar/blue spruce trees. Lakeside has a large lawn and access to the water from the seawall at the edge of the lawn. The house sleeps 17, but only if you need that much room. It is airconditioned and heated with a high efficiency natural gas furnace. There is a natural gas fireplace in the living room for your comfort in the fall and winter months. Summers are so warm you won't be using it. Completely furnished. The kitchen is large and ideal for preparing your own food. Dishwasher, refrigerator, water dispenser, electric range and the dishes and glasseware you require for a comfortable stay. A laundry room downstairs has a front load washer and dryer. The beach is natural fine sand and has a very nice gentle slope to the deeper water, a distance of over 100 yds before the depth is shoulder deep. A natural current keeps the lake very clear. The dining table is next to the kitchen island. A queen bed is in the bedroom and a double murphy bed is in the den area. The two bedroom is also on the first floor and has a beach and ocean view from the master bedroom which has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a double bunkbed and twin trundle with a roll away twin in the closet. The den has couches around the large screen TV, a queen mrphy bed, a dining table, and a full kitchen An oak spiral staircase leads upstairs to the penthouse suite which has panoramic views of the beach and ocean from the living room, dining room, and kitchen. There is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, informal and formal dining areas, and a large living room with a large TV, fireplace, and multiple sitting areas. Across from the kitchen is a den with a queen murphy bed. Between the kitchen and living room, french doors open to the balcony which has seating fronting the ocean and a built in gas barbeque. Description:At Harris Land and Cattle Company the guest always comes first. We offer two lodging options for our guests. First there is the ranch house. Originally a log structure, the ranch house has been modernized and expanded over the years. Currently it is a two story structure with an upper level deck that offers an excellent view of the mountains. The 7 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. There are two dinning areas to choose from and always plenty of food served up for our guests in a family style dinning. Understanding our guests need to keep in touch with the outside world we offer our guests free high speed wireless internet access. Our internet access is via satellite so it really smokes.To the left is a view of the house from the deck side and on the right is the view of the mountains from the deck.The second lodging option is for those looking for a more private or secluded setting. We have a log cabin that has been completely remodeled from the ground up with modern facilities having been installed for the comfort of our guests.
