Description:At Cortijo Sierra y Lago we are dedicated to both agriculture and stock breeding. We raise and train purebred Spanish horses. From the moment the foals are born they are allowed to run free in our pastures so that, with our care and attention, they can grow into healthy and strong horses. The Country Estate covers 2 km2, of which 260 m2 are occupied by the house excluding the surrounding porches. Outside is a wide courtyard (1200m2) and access to the house is found through a traditional Andalusian patio featuring a large fountain. The animals and grounds are cared for and maintained by a married couple who live onsite in a separate building. Close to the swimmingpool there is a space with a sunshade, a big table and seats, ideal to have lunch/dinner in the garden. Idea for big families, with children, or groups of friends. Pets friendly. The house is located in what is know as Campo de Cartagena. It is surrounded by similar houses where families go for their holidays. It is very close of all services but at the same time is quiet and secluded. The nearest town is 3km far from the house, reachable by car or by bike. It is a typical Summer town, full of visitors (locals and foreigners, mainly Germans and British) and has all services, shops, bars, restaurants and a sparkling night life.ç The nearest golf club (full, with 18 holes) that can be reachable even walking (500m). There are padel-tennis courst nearby that can be rented. The Mar Menor is only 800m away. There is a bus line close by that will take you to the center of the town. The environment is great. The house is only 50 minutes away from Alicante airport, a 10 away from San Javier - Murcia airport.
