Description:Welcome to the super cabana and ¨Condominio As Cabanas¨!! I built the cabana myself January 2011 in Vidigal. It is a single room with a view of the ocean in Zona Sul situated inside a peaceful and artistic garden space. This is probably the only space in Rio de Janeiro with this kind of privacy and atmosphere combined with and incredible location and view. If another similar space exists, it probably costs a fortune!! The condominio is located within an enclosed outdoor space that includes four cabanas, my artist neighbor Wilson´s workshop, and a private bathroom and kitchen. Available for rent are my cabana and, when sufficient people are interested, the other cabanas as well. This means that quite a few people can comfortably stay in the condominio, up to three (four if you like to squeeze) in my cabana and another three-four in the other cabanas. The cabana and ¨condominio as cabanas¨ are located near the entrance of Vidigal off the main street. Climbing Ave. President Joao Goulart (the main street of Vidigal), the entrance to Jo´s Oficina (#275, see pictures) is found on the left side of the second curve. The entrance to the condominio (see pictures) is found inside Jo´s Oficina. This location means that visitors are 5 minutes walking from one of Rio´s most beautiful beaches (Praia do Sheraton), and 3 minutes from a bus stop that takes you anywhere in Zona Sul within 15 minutes (including the metro station)! Security is not an issue at the Condominio or in Vidigal. There are two locking doors that seperate the condominio and the street, the second of which accesses only the condominio. And now that Vidigal is occupied by the Pacifist Police, Vidigal is safer than ever! I am super pleased that the cabana exists - living there has been one of the best experiences of my life. I am also happy that i can offer others the opportunity to experience Rio de Janeiro inexpensively and through an alternative, artistic and ultra-beautiful environment.
