Description:Wonderful remodel of 1920s Edwardian building located only 5 blocks away from the Presidio and within a short walking distance from Golden Gate Park, both of which offer incredible walking, running, and biking opportunities. Just around the corner, you will find Laurel Village, home to several cafes and restaurants. The apartment itself could not be quieter, so it makes a perfect get away from the noise of the city. Given that the apartment has just been remodeled, everything is new, including the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. If you are willing to climb just three flights of stairs, guests have access to the roof top, which affords stunning views of the entire city, including Golden Gate Bridge, which is a short five minute drive away. For those without a car, the MUNI is also readily available (the 1, 2, 33, and 38 lines are all within walking distance). I am a young professional educator and recently moved to San Francisco, and to be honest feel excited to share this space with people who plan to visit the city. I am looking for guests who are quiet, clean, and respectful. I am totally comfortable with guests using the kitchen and will provide basic breakfast items. The Mission District is similar to the East Village in New York with many restaurants, shops, art galleries, book stores and little theaters. It is a hip and vibrant neighborhood. We are located in the middle of it all and only one block from the 16th Street BART subway station so public transportation is simple. The apartments have been recently remodeled and look beautiful with new hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, exposed brick, breakfast islands and hand picked furniture. The apartments come completely furnished with a full size bed, table & chair, TV, DVD player, dishes, appliances, linens, etc. The rent includes all utilities, phone, cable and high speed internet through a cable modem. There is a one time cleaning fee of $175 and a security deposit of $1,000 which can be paid with visa or mastercard on the day you arrive. There is also a parking lot right across the street that rents space for about $200/month. Check in appointments can be made between 10am and 6:30pm.
