Easy to find with only 2 turns from the main street of Winter Park. r n r nThere are two living areas. The great room in the front includes the kitchen and the living room with DirectTV satellite TV (DVR/On Demand) and a DVD player. A big, comfortable sectional couch sits in front of a new gas fireplace and large flat screen . r n r nThe kitchen has all appliances (including a dishwasher), and is stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, 2 coffee makers, a crock pot, a panini maker, a waffle maker, an electric griddle, and more. There is a large kitchen table that can seat 6-10 (and extra folding table and chairs as needed). r n r nThe den is located in the back and has a second flat screen TV, a ping pong table, a double futon couch and great views of the backyard and meadow. A cabinet with games, puzzles and various novels for additional entertainment are provided. r n r nThere is free WIFI throughout the house. r n r nThere are 3 bedrooms. Upstairs is bedroom #1 with a king size bed and flat screen TV (sleeps 2) and bedroom #2 with 2 sets of twin bunk beds (sleeps 4). Downstairs is bedroom #3 with a full bed and a set of twin bunk beds (sleeps 4). The futon in the den also folds out to a double bed that is very comfortable (sleeps 2). r n r nLinens and towels are provided, with extras in the linen closet if needed along with extra blankets and comforters. There is a washer/dryer in the house. r n r nThe backyard has a private outdoor hot tub with great jets and starry night views. There is a gas BBQ with grilling utensils. Lawn furniture and picnic tables in the summer. A large grassy front yard as well with Aspen trees. Covered patios in the front and back. Great front porch swing for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evenings. r n r nThere is an attached 2 car garage (only 1 space available for parking) with some bikes available for use in the summer. Automatic snow removal when there is 4 or more inches of snow. There are 4 additional parking spaces in the large driveway r n r nMany outdoor mountain activities nearby, including hiking, fishing, skiing/snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, rafting, and many, many more. There is a big grocery store less than 10 minutes drive. r n r nHideaway Park is 4-5 blocks away, and is the site of many summer festivals (jazz festival, beer festival), free Thursday night concerts in the summer, a sledding hill with many sleds that is great for the kids in the winter, a great playground and picnic area, and a large skatepark. Cooper Square is just around the corner with many shops, restaurants, a coffee shot, ski rental, free Friday night concerns, and free horsedrawn carriage/sleigh rides for the kids. r n r nThis is a great property for groups of friends and for families with kids, as the layout provides a nice separation of 'upstairs/downstairs' and the back living area is perfect for kids or as a separate recreation room area for ping pong or playing cards. There is a full kitchen including a full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and gas range and stove. We have included all the things that we find valuable in a home kitchen and have tried to have it available in our mountain home. As an example, we have included a coffee grinder alongside the coffee maker. n nThere are also plenty of dishes and utensils for two meals so one set can be in the dishwasher while you have enough for your next meal. We have included high quality pots and pans as well as additional small appliances that you would not normally have available in a rental home. These would include a rice cooker, a crock pot, waffle maker, and even an electric griddle. We also have a nice tablecloth and cloth napkins for special occasions and meals. Creating a huge meal like a thanksgiving meal with all the fixings is not a problem at our home! n nEntertainment : The home has all the entertainment amenities that you want. Both living areas feature High Definition TVs with an HD satellite TV. Both entertainment systems include home theater speaker systems. We include a collection of DVD movies that are available for you to use. n nAdditionally, we have an X-Box entertainment system for the kids. We also have a small collection of X-Box games for use. For the adults, we have a Poker game table that we have equipped with poker chips - so no need to bring your own. n nOther amenities include free local and long distance as well as high speed internet with WiFi connection. You will need to bring a laptop with you to access the internet. n nWe have an outdoor hot tub that has a heated walkway. No need to trample through ice and snow! We include high quality soaps and detergents as well as paper products to get you going.
