The iron sculpture is an African Moneta used as marriage dowry to pay a wife in Africa. Description:A charming, central and sunny room (14 sqm) with balcony for rent in my flat in the popular neighbourhood of Hamburg Eimsbüttel (incl. Wi-fi, mobile phone). Hey there, I am happy to offer you my guest room in my private apartment and to meet people from all over the world. It is a very charming room with balcony in an old-Hamburg-style building you share with me a 32 year old guy (aeronautical engineer). The the room is 14 spm, with wooden floor, on the 1st level, faces south so that the room receives sunshine almost all day through a big window. Maybe you might want to watch the scenery of Eimsbüttel from the comfortable balcony. The room is furnished with a double bed mattress for two person (140 x 200 cm / 4,5 x 6,5 ft) (on the floor), sideboard, desk, cupboard and a beautiful arc lamp. You can have one big planket (240 x 220 cm / 7,8 x 7,2 ft) for a couple or two separate plankets (155 x 220 cm / 5 x 7,2 ft) and two pillows. The flat has a kitchen with electric stove & oven, cooking utensils and microwave. There is extra space for you in the fridge. The kitchen is usually used as a common room. The apartment has a little Hamburg style bathroom with shower. Apart from this there is everything you need, towels, linen, wireless internet, laptop, hair dryer, iron, NO TV. There is a washing machine in the house, but not in the apartment you can use for extra charge (1,50€ per load, its for the house keeper not for me :-)). - I can provide you with a prepaid mobile/cell phone with a German SIM card so that you can call anywhere within Germany (8 Euro Cents/minute) and a laptop to check the internet. - Price includes unlimited 24/7 Wi-Fi internet, linen & towels etc. - THE NEIGHBORHOOD - The room is located in Eimsbüttel near Sternschanze and Altona, abounding with restaurants, cafes, bars and not far from the famous Alster Lake. A short walk will bring you to the main shopping street of Eimsbüttel (Osterstraße), or the bustling Sternschanze with bars, restaurants shops and street markets. The district is very relaxed, with many young families and friendly people. Just a few minutes you can stroll through a weekend market (Saturday), around a hidden natural pond or the well-known Hagenbeck Zoo.
