Description:The guest room is the second bedroom of an 80 square meter apartment located on the 3rd Floor (elevator available) in a central and safe residential area of Athens. The apartment's as well as the building's entrance are protected with security doors. THE GUEST ROOM : Is a spacious and cosy room with hard wooden floors and modern furniture. It has a double bed, wardrobe, drawers cabinet, armchair, TV (terrestrial reception), CD Player, Xbox and WiFi (broadband) Internet connection. A notebook is available upon request. The guest room has a small balcony which allows ambient light into the room. The room is quiet, very clean and tastefully decorated. It can comfortably accommodate two people. Bed Sheets and Towels are provided free of charge. Smoking is ONLY allowed in the kitchen and at the veranda. THE APARTMENT : The guest room is part of a two bedroom apartment in which the owners live as well. The owners use the apartment as their primary home and will be present during your stay. However, you are welcome to use the kitchen, living room and big outside veranda with a view to a green park. The apartment has one bathroom/toilet which you will have to share with the owners. The owners are very friendly and will do their best to make you feel at home. They speak Greek, English and German. There is always tea and coffee available and the ability to prepare a light meal. The apartment has also a Washing Machine/Dryer that can be used at an extra fee. LOCATION : The apartment is centrally located in a nice residential area opposite a park with a super market on the corner and a wide range of shops nearby, i.e bakery, patisserie, chemist and various other grocery shops. One of the apartment’s greatest advantages is its proximity to the unified archaeological sites of Athens (including Keramikos, Thissio, the Acropolis and it’s new museum, Plaka, the Pillars of Olympic Zeus, Panathinaiko Statium, Monastiraki etc.), comprising one of the largest, and certainly most unique, promenades in Europe, if not in the world, from a cultural as well as a historical (archaeological) viewpoint. The New Acropolis Museum is only about 2.200 meters by foot (about 30 minutes walking time or 5 minutes bus ride) from our apartment. Gazi, which is Athens nightlife center, is located about 3.5 kilometers from the apartment and is fast and easily reached by using the nearby Metro. TRANSPORTATION : The apartment is well connected to the Athens center as well as to the Piraeus port. It is easily accessible from the Airport, as it is very close to Bus, Tram and Metro stations. A private transfer from / to the airport can be arranged at an extra charge. HOUSE RULES : Smoking is ONLY allowed in the kitchen during winter time and at the veranda in Summer. No waste must be thrown down the toilet (this is a rule all around Greece). You have to use the special bin instead. We like pets but unfortunately not in our apartment. Please keep in mind that there are quiet hours that need to be respected. Those are for afternoon rest from 14:30 to 17:30 and for evening rest from 23:00 to 07:00. Nice people are expected. It is a perfect destination for every season. It has small but sufficient market places and medical services. Although serene it is a special promenance destination for tourists and is an attraction escpesially during the religious fest of 15 August. The climate is very good not very hot (do not need air-conditionning) with no moisture, so few hours sleep will be sufficient for your resting and relaxation. There are no or few mosquitoes unlike areas by the sea after dusk. It is located on the mountain but it is only 2km away from the sea shore of Golden beach (Agia Paraskevi-Chrissi Ammoudia), since Thassos is an Island with both mountain and beautiful sea shores, as well as full of plantation with beautiful smells and delicious traditional food, ancienties and friendly people. You can walk the village around and have a tour of the island dy bus. Thassos is ideal for suimming, fishing, water sports, nature trecking, yachting, scuba diving.It only takes 1 hour to travel by car around the entire island and it is 15-30 minutes away from Keramoti port and 30mins-1 hour from Kavala port, also accessible during winter months since its position does not allow for it to be influenced by bad weather and sea conditions.... more info >>

Description:We are two people and a dog living in a big house, so we decided that it could be a good idea to share the appartment with guests from other countries :) We had already a lot of guests from all around the world and we love sharing our time, our friendship and our stories with our guests! The house is is new built and cozy and it is located in Glyfada, a safe and wealthy area near the mountain and the sea. There is one spare sunny room with a bed, pillows and sheets. We provide clean towels and there is wi fi. The room accommodates a couple. There are also 2 nice balconies with view to the mountain or the sea and we have put a lot of pots with flowers and trees. Because Roomorama does not provide insurance for hosts at this time we decided to ask for a cash deposit for the duration of your staying and returned upon checkout if nothing is lost or damaged.
