The beach area is only a short walk from our home and easily accessible also by car. In the evening the sundown and the vista of Corsica can be appreciated with a pleasant glass of Sardinian wine. The property is secluded from the road by a gated path, which guarantees a sense of privacy. There is parking for several cars and a roofed garage, which protects against the heat of the sun. Porto Pollo, which is the beach area near the sea, is a well-known and world-class Surfer’s paradise where one can rent equipment for and take courses in Kite- or Wind-Surfing or just have a drink and hang-out while watching the Surfers do their tricks. There is also the possibility to rent a boat for the day to explore the nearby archipelago of La Maddalena. We always enjoy doing this, since there are magnificent beaches and bays on the islands, where one can picnic, go snorkelling and dive from the rock shore into the crystal-clear water. For joggers and bicyclists there is always the possibility to discover the inner parts of the island and seek out a nice panorama. There is a small shop nearby where daily groceries can be bought. For more variety Dettorimarket or LD Market on the way to Palau provide a large selection. Clubs, cafés and restaurants (also take-away) can be found in the vicinity of the house or on the beach. The large garden at the front and the back of the Villa can be used for sunbathing (deckchairs provided), ball games, or other activities. The villa is a freestanding detached house, perfectly equipped, offering a large entrance open-space living-dining room with fireplace, a nice kitchen well organised and to bedrooms which ones is the double master bedroom with sea view, and the second one is double / triple. If necessary, a comfortable sofa bed is also set in living room. Fans in each bedrooms and in living room. A full bathroom in Italian style, with shower, is served of hot water by an electric water heater (50L), as well as the kitchen, not instead the two outdoor showers. Also provided washing machine, soaps and hair drier, iron and iron-table. The Mediterranean garden keeps the house's privacy secluded from the street and the neighbouring buildings. This one as well as two large loggias will allow you to enjoy the outdoors all day, besides permitting direct access on the beach in front, which is amazing for snorkelling or take a walk. Also a BBQ is available to do pic-nics with all your family or friends! To close out the day, enjoy the fascinating views of the Sea and the sun setting on the cliffs nearby from the panoramic roof terrace, or just enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars with candlelight. Indeed useful the garage and the small alley, offering sufficient parking space for several cars or also for a trailer for boat. Punta Braccetto is a summer village offering two bar-tabacchi, a bazaar, a baker's for daily bread and croissant, two restaurant-pizzerias, and a pub indeed the golden sandy beaches are the gorgeous place where spend summer days: -The beach in front the villa is quite and perfect to relax maybe because it's still a little wild despite the nearby houses, That's a thick sandy beach, with seashells and not really pebbly. Walking along completely (only 450yd) you reach the ruins of an ancient Saracen watchtower, called Rocca dei Tramonti, very romantic on sunset. The sea is lovely, like an aquarium at hand, ideal for scuba diving, snorkelling and swimming. Not far from the villa there are two other golden and fine sand beaches, at just a walking distance: -Ones is just above the ruins and near to many camping, so always full of crowds of young people and tourists there's also a chalet , where is possible buy anytime fresh drinks and something to eat. -the second one is the spiaggia di Randello, a really long beach (2,4 miles) wild and quite, in front of the nice Pino d'Aleppo Forest Reserve where to do also pic-nic and jogging. There's also a long reef where diving, fishing or snorkeling that's so romantic than it's select as wedding photographic set on summer sunsetting! Looking for supermarket, banks and post office, Santa Croce Camarina is the nearest town, far from Punta Braccetto just 10-15 minutes by car. Scoglitti, Punta Secca and Caucana are other nearby nice towns, for many other restaurants, Sicilian ice-cream bars and sport's activities. Marina di Ragusa, Ibla and Scicli are indeed well known for their night movida. We suggest to visit Greek ruins of Camarina Museum, and the baroque cities of the area, recently listed among the UNESCO Heritage (Modica, Ragusa, Noto...) No public transports serve the town neither the surrounds, thus the own/rental car is strongly recommended.... more info >>

Description:It puts up two-four persons it has two rooms for an area of 36 mq well furnished, and divided in a sitting room with a cooking corner and a two places divan, a sleeping room, bathroom with shower, a wardrobe. Outside a completely shaded patio, a built in barbecue, a private car place, an outside cabinet shower and the shadow of a gorgeous and aged old carob-tree are the outfits of the house. The, house, named ”Carob-tree House” is completely plunged in a wide land with olive-trees, citrus plantaion (orange and lemon trees), that give fresh and scenting air even in the hottest days. The sea is very near, and every one can reach it by a private street, ending in a little and not crowded bay, excellent for diving. Avola is well known for its excellent wine and its typical almond, named Pizzuta of Avola used for “granite” and sweets for the hexagonal map of the city and it has about 35000 people around the city you can find prehistoric and modern remains. The Ancient town (named Avola Antica) is a natural terrace on the wonderful Noto Gulf and Valley and Cavagrande Canyon. The Avola Promenade (1/2 miles) has a very thin and gilded sand, with degrading depths. You have a free- beach and some bathing establishments. The sea side is animated by restaurants, pizzerie and pubs. In the Old Village of Marina Vecchia there are the best fish shops and early in the morning you can buy fish directly from fishermen. The arch of the loggia of the Ancient Tonnara (now in reparation) looks like a wing that has like background the whole Avola Promenade. The beach of Eloro (7 miles) is attractive not only for its beauty, but also for its Greek and Roman archeological remains. Ancient joint of commercial business, Eloro gave the name to Elorina Way, nowadays covered by the sea. The sea side wings on a sandy depth for 2 miles, dominated by the Torre Pizzuta, whose the origin is until today disputed. The whole is formed by beaches, little coves and rocky creeks. The little mouth of Tellaro River gives an attractive scene of river michro ambient. The Vendicari natural oasis (10 miles) it’s one of the less crowded beaches of the coast as it’s not very known and as it’s rather difficult to reach. It has white sand with many small pieces of shells and crustaceans that give a solid and granulose consistence. Closed between two rocky headlands it opens in a gulf with sea water blue and transparent, where fishes come just near the beach. The name derivates from the ancient marsh, and nowadays remains a very dense vegetation of mediterranean maquis. The landscape has hollows very near to the sea, not too deep marshes, with alophile vegetation and sand dunes, covered by Mediterranean maquis. You can do “bird watching” and during the whole year you can see waders, ducks, herons and storks that stop in this oasis during the yearly migrations. There are some boxes built for the observation along the oasis. The sea water is crystalline and warm in a visitable beach long 1,5 miles about. Very close to Avola is Noto (5 miles) that has an unique architectonic landscape for the Baroque and for the typical rosed colour of the stone availed for building the city. Every corner gives a surprise. The gorgeous Cathedral with the splendid staircase, San Domenico Church, Ducezio Palace, Nicolaci Palace where everything, even the smallest one, has a baroque charm. Interesting also the city with popular quarters, Noto gives the name to the Valley that has been declared patrimony of the whole humanity. Siracusa (15 miles) is divided in the Ancient Area (the island of Ortigia) and the Modern Area. Its archeologic patrimony formed by the Holy Lucy Dome (Doric temple built on ancient settlements, Bizantin basilica, Norman Church, Renaissance and at last baroque), the Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Ierone Altar and the archeologic Museum “Paolo Orsi” one of the most important for Greek remains. Most important is Palazzo Bellomo and its marvellous Annunciazione by Antonello da Messina recently restored. Nearby (10 miles) is Cavagrande del Cassibile, a natural creek between two wings of calcareous stone you can reach it only by foot and this is the reason is never crowded very good for diving and snorkling from the cliff two paths lead to the Avola Seaside and the mouth of Cassibile River where you can find a beach of white sand, a very charming place, a perfect balance between river and sea landscape. You can reach also the fountain where was signed the Armistice in the Second World War, after the landing of the anglo-american troops in Sicily (September, 8 1943). The “cave” are natural cuts in the earth typical of tablelands of this country. “Cavagrande” is one of the most important, excavated by the flowing of Cassibile River in this part of Sicilian tableland. Vegetation is very rich and moisture favours orchids growth, Fauna is represented by hedgehog, weasel, dormouse, martenand, red fox. Description:Wonderfully located and furnished apartments with stunning views of tuscan hills. Private hillside pool (summer only) that dominates the valley. Private lake and incredible trails in the woods. Charme and relax guaranteed. 15 minutes from the sea-side and a step away from top Italian cuisine and wine tasting opportunities, apartment Veronica and apartment Alex are private small and romantic locations that lie in my property, next to the main villa where me and my family live most of the year. The views here are simply stunning, the air is calm and the only noise you will hear could be a deer at night getting closer to get a drink by our lake. I work in the property myself, and I have done all the best into turning this property into a little gem inside the tuscan hills, in an area called Alta Maremma. We have our crops, our vineyards and soon enough we will get our own horses running around. Both apartments have incredible views and will have a private external gazebo which is being built now (you will not see it in the pictures yet, but you will see the views you get from the apartments). Air conditioning, kitchen amenities, electric heating are standard. Both apartments have a living room with a kitchen corner and a sofa that turns into a double bed, a main bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. Table is for four. External table for four too. Kitchens have a four piece gas stove, a dishwasher and a small electric oven. Washing machine is outside and in common with the other apartment. We supply linens and towels for a party of four. Extra towels and pool towels should be brought to you. Our rooms are non-smoking but you can enjoy your cigar on your private patio, so don’t worry. Our location is very strategic, since we lie between the sea and the inner hills of the Tuscan Maremma. Some of the things you could do within a 15 minute drive (yes, a car is needed, we are not in NY) are: dine with some of the best seafood in Italy in San Vincenzo, where a couple of starred Michelin restaurants lie just on the beaches, making dining a most romantic and wonderful experience. dine in many different restaurants (from luxury to rural), where you can taste specialties like wild - hog and tortelli maremmani. go wine tasting and get the chance to try His-Majesty-The -King-Of-All-Wines Sassicaia, mentioned in a dozen of Hollywood films. The podere of San Guido where Sassicaia is Made is only 12 km away. visit Sassetta, our nearby medieval town with it’s alleys and friendly people, and why not visit just some 4 or 5 medieval towns just a jump away. go for some sunbathing on our wonderful beaches including Baratti, a small and beautiful gulf surrounded by Sea Pines and dominated by the town of Populonia, dating seven centuries before Christ. Not enough? Jump in your car and drive: 40 minutes to get to Livorno 30 minutes ferry to get to Elba island, best place in Italy for scuba diving and snorkeling 1 hour to enjoy Pisa 1 hour for Siena 1 1 2 hour for Florence many other places to see and things to do, as summer time (especially) livens up with Town Festivals all over the place Don’t want to move? enjoy our private property trails to go hiking and pick up some mushrooms (avoid the toxic ones though...)or stop and relax by our waterfalls dive in our pool, and get a drink from our poolside house pick up some of our crops by yourself, such as natural zucchini, eggplants, tomatoes, pepperoni, basil, etc... and start cooking read a book in 3D scenery enjoy sunset by our lake or take a walk in our vineyards It will be my pleasure to have you as a guest, because the first time I saw this place it kidnapped me from Milan and I started to restore it. Sharing my efforts with other people and seeing them happy and enjoying a wonderful time in Tuscany is the best I can ask for.... more info >>

The south coast, on the other hand, is as sturdy as jaggedly alternate with small hills, creeks precipitous admission beaches. Is closer to Africa than Italy, the island is surrounded by a spectacular seascape, with incredible colors ranging from clear-blue, turquoise and emerald green. On the island there is no agricultural activity, its soil is white, dry and rocky, much like a desert. The residents live mainly on tourism and fishing, as a considerable flight anchored at its sheltered harbor will testify. Discoveries in the area attest to human settlements on Lampedusa dating from the Bronze Age. In 1843, the island owned by the aristocratic Lampedusa family (one of its members, Giuseppe Tomasi, was the author of the novel Il Gattopardo) and was subsequently acquired by King Ferdinand who was a penitentiary built and sent a handful of people to reside there. A submerged Lampedusa is a paradise for snorkelers and divers who can enjoy a rich and unspoiled submerged world inhabited by corals, sponges, corals, fish and colorful parrot, from Cape Grecale only 50 meters deep, the lobster. Its mostly sandy sea-ground suddenly turns into a dark green because of Posidonia, a marine plant that is known as the Mediterranean lung for releasing oxygen into the water, giving life to beautiful underwater plains. The only city on Lampedusa, the island bearing the same name, is built around the main Roma street, notably crowded at breakfast and at night, hosting a group of shops and cafes with outdoor seating, where, in summer, live music or entertainment events are held. Circumnavigation of the island An island tour by boat can be easily restricted to the port where boats are available at economical prices. The tour usually starts at 10.00 and return at 05:00. The low and jagged coast of Lampedusa is full of coves and bays among these is laTabaccara, a beautiful bay washed by turquoise waters. The north shore has a cliff top with plenty of impressive caves. After the Bay of Madonna (which gets its name because of a rock that resembles the Virgin Mary) is the Sacramento Cliff, with a deep cave. In the north-east end, known as Cape Grecale, is a beacon visible from up to 60 miles away, where it extends a beautiful view of the coastal landscape. It is then the Skull Cave (Skull Cave), hides a 15m long, sandy beach, accessible by boat or along a rough trail to the right. The visitors should rent a bike or a mini-truck for a driving tour of the island because the roads are unpaved part. From the center of Lampedusa head eastwards to the airport. The dirt road that runs along the track goes from bays on the south side of the island. Tree of the Sun - (Tree Sun) This is called the highest point on Lampedusa (about 133m asl), where there is a circular structure retains a wooden crucifix. There, by a stone wall on the edge of a steep slope, you can enjoy spectacular views of the sea. Tourists are advised to be extremely careful when near the edge. Returning to the semi-paved road you will see an afforestation area recently. At the end of the wall, follow the path that soon leads to a cross of iron. On your right, a promontory with a breathtaking view of the Sacramento Cliff. From here, the small island of Lamp is visible on the left, in the distance. Return to the main road and continue south to the Bay Island of Rabbits. Bay of Rabbits - This broad bay is petticoated with white cliffs and the island's finest beach, just a few meters offshore lies a little island. The beach with its fine sand, gently sloping in the transparent waters that splendidly turn to turquoise and emerald green. Here the Caretta-Caretta turtle lays its eggs during the breeding season, an event now threatened by the large influx of tourists who stay late at night, usually when she comes ashore to nest. Also, here is the only habitat in Italy for algarus psammodromus, a particular type of striped lizard native to North-West, namely Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. Our Lady of Porto Salvo - It 'a small shrine of ancient unknown date and origin surrounded by a beautiful garden. USEFUL INFORMATION Getting to Lampedusa - The easiest way to reach Lampedusa plane, which is well served by links from Palermo, in the summer months, from direct flights from Milan Bergamo, Rome, Venice and Verona. A ferry service is also available from Agrigento. Since this comes late at night, visitors may encounter problems during the night, unless you have or rent a vehicle. What to buy - the island's natural sponges are a favorite souvenir for tourists. Sponges whiter, while attracting, can result from a chemical treatment that shortens the duration of their lives. Those darker surely last longer. Flaxseed is particularly renowned for the food souvenirs such as lentils and tomatoes, and his cane, baskets, very appreciated by tourists. And for dinner? - On the island are many small restaurants and trattorias specializing in fish dishes, including a no-lose-couscous.... more info >>
