It is part of an old and small countryside hamlet rich in stone houses, and it is located in the middle of a 120-hectare farm. n nVilla Pavone is in the north of Umbria , close to the famous cities of art such as Siena , Perugia , Assisi , Todi , Spoleto , among others. It is also halfway between Rome and Florence , which are about 200 km (about 124 miles) and 150 km (about 93 miles) from the villa, respectively. n nVilla Pavone D consists of a single room where there is a double bed, a kitchenette, and a bathroom with shower. n nThe apartment is equipped with winter heating and parking space. n nThe place n nVilla Pavone is in the middle of a 120-hectare agricultural farm which stretches over a verdant valley at the same height of the secure medieval hamlet of Montone , a small village which is listed as one of the most beautiful hamlets in the world. n nAlmost the whole land of the farm is actually pasture or range, being used to breed cattle of the famous Chianina breed. Cultivations and breeding of animals are developed with organic methods. The medieval towns of Perugia and Gubbio (20 mins drive away) have some of the best restaurants in Umbria and a lively nightlife. The speciality is rich truffle dishes made with local black and white truffles. Gubbio also has several bars and pubs, which are great fun and rather lively during the summer evenings. The local towns of Ramazano and Casa del Diavolo both have bars, where you can drink into the small hours with the locals. You can walk to both of the bars (5 mins walk), they are both typical Umbrian bars, with beer on tap and a lively banter.
