Description:THE HOUSE: Would you like to spend a wonderful week in complete relaxation in the picturesque countryside of Tuscany? Our villa is what you are looking for.Located in one of the most beautiful tuscan landscapes, it is an enchantingly renovated old country house set on the hillside near the little town of Palaia (Pisa) and surrounded by a marvellous natural fresco where flowers, olives and vineyards are some of the main subjects. The accommodation is completely furnished in a rustic way, with traditional floors and nice wooden beam-ceilings. On the ground floor you can find the kitchen/dining room complete with oven, big wooden dining table, a large hob, freezer and fridge. The sitting room, where you can relax by the fire on two comfortable sofas and listen to some good music, is carefully furnished and communicates with the dining room. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and has a roomy shower, basin, w.c. and bidet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the first one with a double bed (or twin beds), excellent wardrobe and TV and the second with a double bed (or twin beds), TV and DVD as well. Every little detail has been chosen with much care and interest. From our property guests may reach every interesting historical city or important seaside resorts in more or less one hour. The estate, completely isolated from noise and pollution of towns, is ideal for those who look for relax and privacy. The house is equipped with all the modern facilities to make your stay as pleasant and easy as possible. There is nothing more to say now it is time to see our house with your own eyes! TIPS: Palaia is a very small village which has a gorgeous country around.It is definetly a good base to visit the beauties of Tuscany,living at the same time to relax of an uncontaminated environment.Only 15 mins by car and you are in Pontedera,small city but with lots of nice bars,pubs and restaurant as well as a lot of activities such as tennis,swimming pools,football and so on.If you want to visit the Dome,the Uffizi or Ponte Vecchio in Florence(the cradle of Renaissance)you can go either by car(1h20)or by train from Pontedera(50mins).One day you could go to Pisa and lay in the sun on the grass of Piazza dei Miracoli with the famous Leaning Tower in front of you(50 mins by car or 15 mins with the train from Pontedera).You cannot miss Siena with his marvellous Piazza del Campo which in August changes in a Horse race for the Palio.Moreover the location is well related with famous wine itineraries and it is for example very nice to drive along the road to San Gimignano,which passes through hills and valleys,and along which many farms produce and sell their own olive oil and wine for competitive prices.Lucca and Viareggio are also easily reachable.We will be very happy to give information’s about place where to go and good restaurants!... more info >>

Description:In the harmonic land of the enchanted hills and the blue mountains, steeped in greenery and cared-for in every detail is to be found ‘Il Salino’, a country house for those who wish to relax and regenerate in blissful peace. The Salino Country House which has been renovated with expertise is to be found in the midst of the green hills of the Marche region, and situated in the county of Contro at about 3 km from Gualdo ( 650 metres above sea-level), a medieval town in the province of Macerata and part of the ‘Comunità Montana dei Monti Azzurri’ ( The Mountain Community of the Blue Mountains). The farmhouse, from which there is a beautiful view of the countryside, stands on a strip of land of approximately one hectare, on a hillside that runs gently down to the stream named ‘Salino’, from which the property takes it’s name. The construction, which provides every comfort, is composed of the farmhouse and an annex with a swimming pool, able to sleep 15 people in a mini apartment, a one-room flat and four rooms, as well as a communal living area composed of a polyvalent lounge, a dining-room and a kitchen. Also included are a large garden, a car park and an olive grove. The ‘Salino’ Country House is essentially composed of: -> the farm house: an expert eye will see that it was built in various stages from the end of the 1800’s onwards. The farmhouse, built on two floors, is built in sandstone, and has been renovated exclusively using natural building materials that respect the local traditions. The first floor is made up of a tv lounge come reading-room, four finely furnished rooms, each with its own bathroom, heating, safe deposit box, tv and every comfort. The farmhouse, once upon a time, was part an old estate,where farmers grew tobacco.The house has recently acquired the status of historical building. This is an area worth exploring. IT IS POSSIBLE TO RENT THE WHOLE FARMHOUSE, in this case we can host up to 20 adults ( babies are accepted but not counted) The compound is composed of one cottage (4 2) and 3 apartments :for2/9 people. The farm is surrounded by a large fenced garden area equipped with tables, chairs and canopies, with of 8 x 12 meters swimming pool. the apartments have been tastefully finished, fully furnished ,all provided with TV sat,DVD and their own heating system. Simple but comfortable they have everything is needed to make guests feel at home.Laundry room with washing machine and iron ( ironing board) ,vacuum cleaner available for common use.
