Description:Come and see if you do not believe me and the pictures taken by photographer air bnb: this site is a corner of paradise on earth, I'm sorry for you if you do not take the opportunity to holiday in a unique place with cost so little.This refined ground floor apartment, which forms part of this wonderful traditional Italian country house, is surrounded by glorious rolling hills, olive groves, vineyards and spectacular views. Around the house covers an acre of land fenced in which we created a garden, an olive grove that produces an excellent extra virgin, strictly organic garden and a grove of tall trees. So we can enjoy tomatoes, chard, zucchini, salads of various kinds, peas, beans, broccoli and cauliflower, grapes, strawberries, depending on the season. We also collect from our belowed trees plums, peaches, apricots, apples and walnuts. The tranquil location is a heaven of peace and quiet while at the same time being very close to all amenities offered by the busy market town of Marsciano. The house is located about 12 km from the main road through the centre of Umbria linking Assisi (30 minutes), Perugia (20 minutes), Orvieto (40 minutes), Todi (15 minutes) and Spoleto (50 minutes). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FURTHER DETAILS Normally guests are welcome no earlier than 15 and check out is at 11 o'clock. A welcome pack of wine, water,milk, home made bread and oil extra virgin home produced is provided and the kitchen is supplied with basics such as tea, coffee, sugar etc. We can offer guests some extras that they not find elsewhere such as home cooked meals on arrival or during their stay. In the apartment there is internet access. Just tell us what you would like and we will do our best to provide it ,but first you must arrive... - Accessibility The apartment is on the groundfloor and is suitable for people with mobility problems but not suitable for wheelchairs. - Outside The swimming- pool (12 x 4 meters) is shared with us when we are present and is opened from early May until late September. In the garden near swimming pool there is a gazebo with iron coloured table 4 iron chairs for eating and barbecue. Around swimming-pool there are 4 comfortable sunloungers. Comfortable chairs are available for those who want to read or relax under the shade of trees. Around the property fields, groves of oaks and pines, a stream that forms a small lake, a ring of hills that lead up medieval castles, small villages with their steeples: nature and art. The beloved garden thanks us with a magnificent production of flower: among all the many varieties of roses and peonies. The wood that we planted conteins native tree species such as oaks and holm oaks, fragrant trees such as linden and many others. April is the month in which explode the Umbrian Spring with its blue skies and mild temperatures: it's time to come admiring it and we hope that you take this wonderful opportunity, - Coast/Beach In an hour fourty five you arrive in Ancona, and you're in the middle of the promontory of Mount Conero with its beautiful coastline and beaches where swimming, diving and surfing. In twenty minutes you are on the Trasimeno lake's sandy beaches, where you can practice all water sportses - Golf 20 minutes from Perugia golf club. The Perugia Golf Club is located just 6 km from the center of the Etruscan city of Perugia. The field is a gently undulating par 72, the core of which dates from the late fifties. The club house is made from an old lime kiln, 1921, of which retains the imperious towers, guarding the path reminiscent of the English fields. The driving range, enriched by the inclusion of three-hole executive par 3, is made of laminated wood structure in a modern, welcoming the guests just inside the gate. ABOUT MARSCIANO and SURROUNDINGS Marsciano has supermarkets, banks, cinema, beauty salons and restaurants serving traditional Umbrian food. The first Sunday of each month in the village of Campello on Clitunno river has an antique market of the most beautiful and richest of the 'Central Italy,located just 40 minutes drive peacefully from the apartment. Water sports at lake Trasimen the lake Trasimeno is the fourth largest lake in Italy within a 20 min. drive from your apartment. A popular pastime is to take a small ferry to one of its islands for lunch. For the more active,the lake offers a variety of water sport, such as sailing, wind-surfing and diving. In the surroundings of your apartment there are many factories that produce clothing and knitwear cashmire that sell directly to the public at low prices: the most famous is that of Brunello Cucinelli in the beautiful village of Solomeo. We are just on the wine route of the Song, a vast area full of vineyards and companies who sell it.Some Companies invite you to visit their cellars and taste their wines for free. And it is possible to make an eco-tour through ancient vineyards and olive trees by jeep to 0 CO2 emissions from electric jeep. Children and families will enjoy going to visit the City of the Sunday in Perugia: a playground on a hill inhabited by many animal species, with magical castles of fairy tales, crossed by a trainhere you can ride a horse and experience the work typical of a farm. Description:Villa Silvestre D is a gracious 40-square-meter (about 430.5 square feet) cottage in stone with a patio, a private garden, a shared garden, and a view of a valley. It sleeps two people, and it has a parking space. n nThe cottage is a separate home which is part of a large countryside house located between Sorrento and Positano . You will be 7 km (about 4.3 miles) away from Sorrento and 10 km (about 6.2 miles) away from Positano. n nVilla Silvestre D consists of a single room furnished with a double bed, a dining area, a kitchenette, and a bathroom with shower. n nThe place n nThe villa is on the top of one of the steep hills by the sea which mold the wild and picturesque stretch of high coast which goes from Punta Campanella to Positano. You will be about 300 meters (about 984 feet) above sea level. n nThe villa and the private land surrounding it (5000 square meters or about 53,820 square feet) look out on the sun and the sea. n nVilla Silvestre is a large countryside house built with blocks of grey tuff. It is surrounded by the green of the olive groves, and it faces the vast blue of the sea. Red cranesbills and several succulent plants shine in the sun and dangle from several vases placed on the staircases, porticoes, and terraces. n nThe house is in the middle of a sloping terraced land where olive trees, grape vines, and fruit trees grow. You will reach the house by walking down a private road embellished by bushes of yellow cranesbills and roses. n nFrom every angle of the garden you will have a pleasant and wide view of the sea. n nVilla Silvestre is in fact in the middle of a large valley which gently leans facing towards the sea and which is covered in silvery crowns of olive trees and lush vegetation. Amidst the green you will notice the red roof tiles of farm houses and really small inhabited areas. The mild verdant slope is abruptly interrupted by the blue of the sea as the hill seems to plunge from high above into the waters down below, about one km (about 0.7 miles) away as if seen in a straight line from the villa. n nFrom the sea, this stretch of high coast looks impervious, wild and quite picturesque since it is adorned by the presence of two islets, Isca and Vetara. n nIn this small paradise, where the air and perfume of the sun-drenched countryside merge with the fresh and salt-scented air which emanates from the sea, you will find a mild and salubrious climate all year round. n nNext to the house, on a beautiful lawn shaded by cherry trees, you will have a ping-pong table and deck chairs to relax outdoors, available to you and all the guests of the villa. n nWhile playing or resting outdoors in the sun or in the shade, you will have an unlimited view of the sea and the Gulf of Salerno . n nAt Villa Silvestre you will also have a small and lush vegetable garden cultivated with love and care by the proprietors, a place where you can glean its seasonal vegetables.
