Description:In the harmonic land of the enchanted hills and the blue mountains, steeped in greenery and cared-for in every detail is to be found ‘Il Salino’, a country house for those who wish to relax and regenerate in blissful peace. The Salino Country House which has been renovated with expertise is to be found in the midst of the green hills of the Marche region, and situated in the county of Contro at about 3 km from Gualdo ( 650 metres above sea-level), a medieval town in the province of Macerata and part of the ‘Comunità Montana dei Monti Azzurri’ ( The Mountain Community of the Blue Mountains). The farmhouse, from which there is a beautiful view of the countryside, stands on a strip of land of approximately one hectare, on a hillside that runs gently down to the stream named ‘Salino’, from which the property takes it’s name. The construction, which provides every comfort, is composed of the farmhouse and an annex with a swimming pool, able to sleep 15 people in a mini apartment, a one-room flat and four rooms, as well as a communal living area composed of a polyvalent lounge, a dining-room and a kitchen. Also included are a large garden, a car park and an olive grove. The ‘Salino’ Country House is essentially composed of: -> the farm house: an expert eye will see that it was built in various stages from the end of the 1800’s onwards. The farmhouse, built on two floors, is built in sandstone, and has been renovated exclusively using natural building materials that respect the local traditions. The first floor is made up of a tv lounge come reading-room, four finely furnished rooms, each with its own bathroom, heating, safe deposit box, tv and every comfort. The ground floor, apart from the independent one-room flat, provides the communal living space: a polyvalent lounge, a dining-room, a professional kitchen and an entrance hall, all finely furnished and fully equipped. The habitation has a view on a small old rural complex (no habitation) named ‘bagghio’ and is surrounded on the other sides by lemon, olive and almond trees. To enjoy your holiday to the fullest, I recommend renting a car to visit the near places. Noto (UNESCO site), at a kilometre - capital of the Baroque culture, simply splendid. 30 mins from Syracuse (UNESCO site), where you can see the Greek theatre and the archaeological site area, the Museum ‘Paolo Orsi’ (very interesting and internationally renowned). The island of Ortigia - a good place also for evening excursions and where you can also try out local food specialties in a large amount of typical restaurants to choose from simply walking for the streets of Ortigia can be a gorgeous experience, adventuring through its little narrow street filled or baroque sculptures and building facades. There are also little mountain-side towns that can be reached in about a hour, places of the likes of Buccheri, Buscemi, and Palazzolo, where you will find museums, good typical eatery and the ‘Val Di Anapo’ valley. There also are various natural resorts, the Natural Reserves, the little ponds of sweet water in ‘Cava Grande’ (Avola Antica 14km), the splendid beaches in the reserve Calamosca and Eloro resorts(Calamosca 10km, Eloro 8km), the slushes, reachable in less than half hour from Casa Zisola. Very interesting also the other Baroque cities: Scicli, Ragusa, Modica (UNESCO sites). You can visit the volcano Etna (86), its observatory and park, and its magnificent scenarios. Description:Casa Prospero F is a characteristic apartment surrounded by the vegetation. It sleeps four people. It is appoximately 100 square meters (1076 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating. n nYou will be roughly 6 km (3.7 miles) from Iesa Palazzo , where you will find a grocery store. You will find the closest restaurant at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile). n nTo stay at Casa Prospero F you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, in a reserved parking space. n nThe Casa Prospero Apartments are part of an old hamlet dating back to the seventeenth century. The hamlet was once used as a shelter for the shepherds and the farmers who worked in the properties. The hamlet is made by several rural homes that, although they have all been renovated, preserve the typical character of the old walled country houses. n nThe hamlet is located in a beautiful position, surrounded by the greenery, with a splendid view on Mount Amiata and the Ombrone Valley. n nIn the farmhouse you will find an infinity pool, a football pitch, a volley court and you will be able to play archery, table-tennis and billiards. n nThe hamlet belongs to a large farm which occupies about 1300 hectares of land.
