In fact, it originally belonged to the Marquess of Saluzzo di Paesana and is the most important and biggest nobile palace in Turin. Description:My apartment is a studio with a loft conversion and a little private garden: downstairs (30 square meters) you have couch, tv, table, kitchen corner, bathroom, access to private garden (12 square meters) upstairs, in the loft conversion (15 square meters), you have the bedroom, with a double bed, wardrobe and other furniture. The apartment offers a very nice and charming ambience and it'is full of comforts: - free access to wifi connection and my pc - dvd player and movies - clean towels and sheets - a fully furnished kitchen, including microwave - garden (where you can smoke)with table and chairs - one bicycle thet you can use. My location in Rome is in the neighborhood called Pigneto. Pigneto is a pedestrian area: every morning you can find a nice street market and every kind of shops opened until 8 p.m. in the evening, especially during spring and summer, there are hundreds of people having fun around, being the area full of restaurants and wine bars. My building is in a little street, 20 meters from the pedestrian area, enough to be totally quiet: no noises and a deep silence all day and night. You can also find a nice cinema 100 meters away. Pigneto neighborhood is in the city center, near by Termini central station and San Giovanni area. Just 50 meters from my building you can find bus and tram stops: bus 105, tram 14 or 5 to go to Termini in 8 minutes (or 20 minutes by feet) bus 81 or 810 to go to San Giovanni in 5 minutes (or 10 minutes by feet)and to all the main point of interest of city in 10/20 minutes . Description:In my historical family house I restored a part of it with an independent entrance. The studio apartment is nice, pleasant and cozy. There is a little garden at the ground floor. The view from the window is on the lake panorama. The apartment is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with oven and microwave and everything needed to cook. There is a love seat sofa bed and a single bed. The bathroom is set with shower. The wooden table is a family antique piece. Across the road you will find a public yard with direct access to the lake. The distance between the house and the lake is of about 20 yards. The beach (no sand) is 1/2 mile away (free access). Very near, 300 yards away you can get the ferry to Monte Isola. The house is in a village 5 minutes walking from bakery, grocery and market. More information about the region: On site: We have the lake ISEO in front of the house with Monte Isola (the biggest Island inside a lake in Europe). In the island you can walk and visit small fisherman towns, relax on the grass lake beach (free), and, rent bikes. You can also hike on the top of the island where there is a Sanctuary. On Friday morning you will visit the big street market in Iseo town (you can reach it by car, by train or by boat). Iseo is the main town on the lake. I love this market. You can find Italian shoes, clothes and other stuff. Less then 1 hour away by car Alps all around Iseo lake. Brescia (my city) is actually 30 minutes away. (45 by train) It has a cute center city with a Roman temple, shops, the most beautiful round base Romanic cathedral I have ever seeing and much more. Brescia is not touristic yet but as every city in Italy has a lot to offer. The Franciacorta wine region: It is a hilly wine making region that resembles Tuscan. It has a famous wine making wineries and monasteries and castles. If you are interested you might be able to visit one, and eat in a typical restaurant. Bergamo is the city at the other side of the lake. It is very beautiful and interesting. The historical center of the town is on the top of a hill. Verona well, there is the Arena, a roman theater like the Colosseum that is still in use for Opera during the summer. In addition you can visit the house of Juliette and the gorgeous center city with a lively atmosphere. Transports: By boat: Monteisola (the ferry every 30 minutes from Sale Marasino to Carzano) and others to reach the little towns around the lake as Iseo, Lovere etc. By train: Sale Marasino’s station is 5 minutes walk from the house. Iseo (12 minutes by train), Brescia (45 minutes). It is a nice little train that connects Brescia to Edolo (a little town in the Alps mountain Adamello). From Brescia you can go by train to Milano (60 min), Verona (45 min) Vicenza, Padua and Venice.... more info >>

From Central Rail Station of Termini is very easy and fast to find the apartment: a) in front of the Termini' Station by bus (105) or by tram (14 and 5) after 3 stops you are at 50 m from the apartment. b) by feet you must exit by the left side of the Termini's Station on Via Giolitti, you must go along Via Giolitti for 5-600m, when you see infront of you the Minerva Temple ruins go on the right in P. Micca street. At number 2 ind building(1900), after five steps down, you go into a mini house with all comforts (shower, microwave, frigo, washmachine, wifi........), if necessary it's possible one other single bed. The house is far 20' by feet from the Colosseum, 400m far from Metro A (to S.Peter, Spagna Square, Trevi's Fontain........). Area with many hotels and B&B, with a lot of tipical italian restourants, pizza's , and 300m far from the best end oldest ice-cream factory in Rome (1870). You'll find a little guide with news about the Esquilino's quarter. In the street P.Micca you can see the large ruines of Minerva's Temple. In 10' by feet you can visit two Basilics (S. Giovanni in Laterano and S.Maria Maggiore) and one ancient church with very famous mosaics (S. Prassede) In this area there are many public travel service to go all over the city of Rome. If you like running you can go in Colle Oppio Park infront of the Colosseum. At the Central Rail Station TERMINI you can take the bus to Tivoli (Adrian's Villa) and to Ancient OSTIA, two of the most important archeological sites near Rome.
