Description:THE HOUSE: Would you like to spend a wonderful week in complete relaxation in the picturesque countryside of Tuscany? Our villa is what you are looking for.Located in one of the most beautiful tuscan landscapes, it is an enchantingly renovated old country house set on the hillside near the little town of Palaia (Pisa) and surrounded by a marvellous natural fresco where flowers, olives and vineyards are some of the main subjects. The accommodation is completely furnished in a rustic way, with traditional floors and nice wooden beam-ceilings. On the ground floor you can find the kitchen/dining room complete with oven, big wooden dining table, a large hob, freezer and fridge. The sitting room, where you can relax by the fire on two comfortable sofas and listen to some good music, is carefully furnished and communicates with the dining room. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and has a roomy shower, basin, w.c. and bidet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the first one with a double bed (or twin beds), excellent wardrobe and TV and the second with a double bed (or twin beds), TV and DVD as well. Every little detail has been chosen with much care and interest. From our property guests may reach every interesting historical city or important seaside resorts in more or less one hour. The estate, completely isolated from noise and pollution of towns, is ideal for those who look for relax and privacy. The house is equipped with all the modern facilities to make your stay as pleasant and easy as possible. There is nothing more to say now it is time to see our house with your own eyes! TIPS: Palaia is a very small village which has a gorgeous country around.It is definetly a good base to visit the beauties of Tuscany,living at the same time to relax of an uncontaminated environment.Only 15 mins by car and you are in Pontedera,small city but with lots of nice bars,pubs and restaurant as well as a lot of activities such as tennis,swimming pools,football and so on.If you want to visit the Dome,the Uffizi or Ponte Vecchio in Florence(the cradle of Renaissance)you can go either by car(1h20)or by train from Pontedera(50mins).One day you could go to Pisa and lay in the sun on the grass of Piazza dei Miracoli with the famous Leaning Tower in front of you(50 mins by car or 15 mins with the train from Pontedera).You cannot miss Siena with his marvellous Piazza del Campo which in August changes in a Horse race for the Palio.Moreover the location is well related with famous wine itineraries and it is for example very nice to drive along the road to San Gimignano,which passes through hills and valleys,and along which many farms produce and sell their own olive oil and wine for competitive prices.Lucca and Viareggio are also easily reachable.We will be very happy to give information’s about place where to go and good restaurants!... more info >>

It is part of an old farm house, property of our family, which we have restaured. The house has two apartments (this one and a smaller one for 2-3 people) each with his own entrance. Outside there is a common garden where You can relax during the beautiful Tuscan evenings. The apartment is very suitable for families or groups of friends (4-6 people) who have a car and want to do a tour of Tuscany. The apartment is restored in original country style. It 's 100 square meters and consists of: a large living room with sofa and TV, a typical Tuscan kitchen with stove refrigerator, dishwasher, table and chairs, traditional fireplace, one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms all with wrought iron beds, 2 bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet. The interiors and furnishings are Tuscan style. Most of the objects and furnishings are from the family. The price is very actractive. We have started our activity recently (in 2011) and we have decided, for 2012, to offer our guests the possibility to stay in a very beautiful and relaxing apartment at a very promotional price. Linen and towels are included in the price and will be changed once per week. With an agreement, We offer a swimming pool service, around 2 km from the apartment, to only 5 euro/day (adult), 2,5 euro/day kids (3-12 years) and free for little baby (under 3 years). The area is very safe and quiet so, think just relaxing and enjoying it. In Castiglion Fibocchi 0,8 km from the house, you can find farmacy, supermarket and all you need. In the house You will also find the numbers for every emergencies. The location of the apartment is very central and allows to reach easily: Arezzo (12 km) where You can visit the beautiful Pieve (Romanesque church) and the church of San Francesco with the frescoes of Piero della Francesca, the beautiful village of Loro Ciuffenna, Florence (65 km) with all its monuments, museums and the famous Ponte Vecchio, Siena (60 km) and all the Chianti area (40 km), the medieval town of Anghiari (30 km), Casentino area (20-30 km) with its extensive woodlands and beautiful restored historical buildings, including many castles and abbeys and Cortona (40 km), with his etruscan sites. Lake Trasimeno is another wonderful place for sports and relax. Description:The old baglio (farm house) is located on a beautiful bank close to Trapani. It overlooks an olive plantation, a soft river valley and the mediterranean sea with the Egadi Islands. Surrounded by olive trees and a newly planted garden the remote estate is the perfect place where to relax and finding inspirations by watching astonishing sunsets There are three spacious studios for two people (max.5) and one big apartment for four people (max.7). In the last years the baglio had been caringly renovated. Through a big archway you enter the yard, from where you get to the studios and apartments. The proprietary, Ms. Mauro spends her holidays on the estate herself. The ground floor studios look northward to Mount Erice and have one big open living/dining room with a kitchenette and a bedroom on the gallery upstairs. On the other, the south-western side of the building lies the spacious two-story apartment. The three ground floor studios have big doors opening to a field with the bold Mount Erice in the background. Looking north you survey a newly planted garden, olive and palm trees. The tyrrhenian sea with the three Egadi Islands lies west. Inside the studios you take the wooden stairs up to the gallery - the bedroom with a big double bed. Downstairs there is a new kitchen, equipped with gas stove, stone finished sink and a fridge. You will find pots, plates, cutlery and everything you need to do your own cooking. There is a sofa and a daybed, where a up to three more persons can sleep if needed. The recently built bathrooms have modern sanitary accessories. The old baglio was renovated in 2007 and is furnished tastefully. With its high ceilings the apartment is very spacious. Kitchen, dinigroom and living room all are connected to make one big living area. The two bedrooms, one up- one downstairs, are situated in the tower-like part in the centre of the building. There are two bathrooms. It's all there: a big sofa and a stereo. Lots of space in the dinig room. The kitchen is fully equipped. with fridge, a gas stove and everything to do your own cooking. You will find garden furniture for the big terrace. (At the moment the terrace is lacking the flagstones.) In the bathroom downstairs, there is a big bathtub. Upstairs, there is an other smaller bathroom with shower.. You have a king size bed in the bedroom upstairs, in the second big bedroom there are the stairs. It is a Durchgangszimmer. The old baglio has been recently renovated and furnished tastefully. Directions Arrival by car: At the Palermo airport take the autostrada A29 towards Trapani. Past Alcamo ouest turn right (highway A29dir.) Shortly after the exit Dattilo the highway bifurcates. Drive left towards Marsala. Take the exit Marausa an turn right towards Trapani. Past Marausa you cross a river valley and arrive at the village of Palma. Turn left at the traffic lights, drive towards the sea and follow the road until you see a railroad crossing. Take the road before that crossing, and turn left. After 100m turn left again. You have arrived. Prices Studio for two persons: 80 EUR per night. For each additional bed we charge 10 EUR. Description:In the harmonic land of the enchanted hills and the blue mountains, steeped in greenery and cared-for in every detail is to be found ‘Il Salino’, a country house for those who wish to relax and regenerate in blissful peace. The Salino Country House which has been renovated with expertise is to be found in the midst of the green hills of the Marche region, and situated in the county of Contro at about 3 km from Gualdo ( 650 metres above sea-level), a medieval town in the province of Macerata and part of the ‘Comunità Montana dei Monti Azzurri’ ( The Mountain Community of the Blue Mountains). The farmhouse, from which there is a beautiful view of the countryside, stands on a strip of land of approximately one hectare, on a hillside that runs gently down to the stream named ‘Salino’, from which the property takes it’s name. The construction, which provides every comfort, is composed of the farmhouse and an annex with a swimming pool, able to sleep 15 people in a mini apartment, a one-room flat and four rooms, as well as a communal living area composed of a polyvalent lounge, a dining-room and a kitchen. Also included are a large garden, a car park and an olive grove. The ‘Salino’ Country House is essentially composed of: -> the farm house: an expert eye will see that it was built in various stages from the end of the 1800’s onwards. The farmhouse, built on two floors, is built in sandstone, and has been renovated exclusively using natural building materials that respect the local traditions. The first floor is made up of a tv lounge come reading-room, four finely furnished rooms, each with its own bathroom, heating, safe deposit box, tv and every comfort. The ground floor, apart from the independent one-room flat, provides the communal living space: a polyvalent lounge, a dining-room, a professional kitchen and an entrance hall, all finely furnished and fully equipped. The grape room is a one-room flat with a kitchenette and an angle bar with a fridge, and apart from the bedroom there is a bathroom, heating, a safe deposit box and every comfort -> the annex: originally a barn and a pigsty, this has been transformed into the House of Hay and Sun (“La casetta del sole e del fieno”) a few metres away from the farmhouse, completely independent and composed of a two-room mini-apartment with fully-equipped kitchenette, bathroom and pantry, to sleep four people in maximum comfort -> the swimming pool: built into the hillside and thus sheltered, it has a panoramic view (5 x 10 mt) -> Outdoors: there are the garden and the car park outlined by a sandstone perimeter, and including many olive trees, benches, tables, chairs and deck-chairs. Description:Situated at 1.5 km from the city of Noto, in an organic farm, where the farmer work on lemons, almonds and olives trees. In the countryside you can enjoy organic landscapes typical of our valleys and our products that you can taste there. The house is composed by a large bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, an entrance area, a big veranda with a barbecue place and a parking place. The place provides complete independence and relaxing environment. The habitation has a view on a small old rural complex (no habitation) named ‘bagghio’ and is surrounded on the other sides by lemon, olive and almond trees. To enjoy your holiday to the fullest, I recommend renting a car to visit the near places. Noto (UNESCO site), at a kilometre - capital of the Baroque culture, simply splendid. 30 mins from Syracuse (UNESCO site), where you can see the Greek theatre and the archaeological site area, the Museum ‘Paolo Orsi’ (very interesting and internationally renowned). The island of Ortigia - a good place also for evening excursions and where you can also try out local food specialties in a large amount of typical restaurants to choose from simply walking for the streets of Ortigia can be a gorgeous experience, adventuring through its little narrow street filled or baroque sculptures and building facades. About 30 hectares of the farming estate are cultivated with organically grown olive trees. The apartments are situated in two of the three farmhouses of the estate and they stand on the top of the hill, surrounded by a centuries-old olive grove and a cultivation of new olive trees. Eight apartments are located in the main farmhouse, the other two apartments are located in the other farmhouse. Here is a small restaurant where you can taste the genuine family-dishes of Umbria . Goods produced in the farm are also for sale: extra-virgin olive oil, wine, grappa, pasta, and sauces with truffle. The landlords are very fond of their farm and will greet you in a warm and friendly way. They will help with anything you need making sure you have your privacy respected. n nYou will find a beautiful swimming pool in the garden. Part of the garden is consecrated to children, being equipped with swings and slides. Also, a ping-pong table and mountain bikes are available for the guests of the apartments. n nIf you are keen on hiking, you will be able to walk along paths traced into the woods of the farming estate. n nAt roughly 5 km from the estate you will find riding stables, tennis courts and sport fishing areas. n nA laundry service is available at the property upon request, for extra cost.
