The house is surrounded by gardens and shady spots with tables and chairs for relaxing or dining al fresco and there is a swimming pool enjoying a lovely panorama. r n n nThe estate consists a beautiful house and surrounding farm buildings which have been in the family for generations, and are now fully restored forming seven spacious apartments and two rooms. The houses are surrounded by pretty gardens with lawns and pots of flowers, where each apartment has an area with table and chairs for dining al fresco. In a lovely position in the grounds overlooking the verdant countryside is a pretty swimming pool (12m x 6m) and the attentive owners have added an indoor spa area with heated hydro massage tub, aromatherapy showers and sauna. r n r nThe apartments are comfortably furnished in Umbrian country style, with many original features such as beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and fireplaces being retained creating a warm and homely atmosphere, and the crafts of local artisans are apparent in the handmade wooden and wrought iron details throughout the interiors. r n r nTuderte P0, is a pretty studio apartment on the ground floor, consisting of a living area with kitchen unit, dining table and chairs and settee, separated by curtains from the sleeping area which has a lovely wrought iron double bed, and there is a shower room. The apartment has its own area in the garden furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco, and there is a barbecue in the grounds for guests use. r n r nIf required breakfast can be arranged locally and meals are also served on request. The estate in fact produces pasta made from their own wheat, as well as olive oil, pulses and wine, all of which are featured in the cooking and can be tasted and purchased locally. The lovely swimming pool in a pretty position overlooking the valley is the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquillity, and the indoor hydro massage tub and sauna are welcome little extras (payable locally). r n r nThe countryside surrounding the estate is also a joy to explore on foot. The location is a great base from which to explore Umbria, the beautiful town of Todi is just 10 minutes drive away (10km) and the regions excellent road links make visiting other equally beautiful towns easy. Description:Molino le Gualchiere (The Mill) is an old mill just below the medieval village of Loro Ciuffenna, facing the Chianti hills perfect for weddings and groups. nMolino 3 small buildings have been restored traditionally, creating five attractive apartments in and around the main house , with form 1 to 3 bedrooms each. nSituated in the characteristically beautiful Tuscan country side the farm borders on the Ciuffenna River and produces wine, olive oil, fruit and vegetables. nWe transferred from a big city 20 years ago to experience a different life and we like to share with our guest the beauty of of Tuscany and its countryside. nWe have now joined forces with a local organisation which cares for partially disabled young people, mainly affected by Down's Syndrome, in a venture which will enable these young people to help in the daily work of the Molino. This will give them the opportunity to experience not only the the rural activities of a small estate, but also of helping to look after guests in the apartments.
