Around the house covers an acre of land fenced in which we created a garden, an olive grove that produces an excellent extra virgin, strictly organic garden and a grove of tall trees. So we can enjoy tomatoes, chard, zucchini, salads of various kinds, peas, beans, broccoli and cauliflower, grapes, strawberries, depending on the season. We also collect from our belowed trees plums, peaches, apricots, apples and walnuts. The tranquil location is a heaven of peace and quiet while at the same time being very close to all amenities offered by the busy market town of Marsciano. The house is located about 12 km from the main road through the centre of Umbria linking Assisi (30 minutes), Perugia (20 minutes), Orvieto (40 minutes), Todi (15 minutes) and Spoleto (50 minutes). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FURTHER DETAILS Normally guests are welcome no earlier than 15 and check out is at 11 o'clock. A welcome pack of wine, water,milk, home made bread and oil extra virgin home produced is provided and the kitchen is supplied with basics such as tea, coffee, sugar etc. We can offer guests some extras that they not find elsewhere such as home cooked meals on arrival or during their stay. In the apartment there is internet access. In twenty minutes you are on the Trasimeno lake's sandy beaches, where you can practice all water sportses - Golf 20 minutes from Perugia golf club. The Perugia Golf Club is located just 6 km from the center of the Etruscan city of Perugia. The field is a gently undulating par 72, the core of which dates from the late fifties. The club house is made from an old lime kiln, 1921, of which retains the imperious towers, guarding the path reminiscent of the English fields. Lavatrice e ferro da stiro. INTERNET GRATIS (Wirlees) senza fili. Abitiamo a 4-6-10 minuti dal centro di Torino con Tram (n.4 ) e Bus ( 46 – 49 –77) che riportano per tutta la Città come al più grande Mercato a cielo aperto europeo di Porta Palazzo con tantissimo banco di frutta e verdura dove tutti vendono i loro prodotti richiamando a gran voce i clienti come nei tempi antichi di una volta … c’è pure anche i banchi dei contadini che vendono i propri prodotti coltivati nella provincia che sono freschi come le verdure ella frutta,le uova ecc. Negozi al coperto di carni bianche di conigli,polli,tacchini maiali,cinghiali e rosse…prosciutti,salami,…Ci sono i banchi dell’abbigliamento…delle scarpe (oggi quasi tutti cinesi) il sabato tutto il giorno gli’altri giorni solo di mattino ( orario :8- 13 ) da non perdere! Sempre vicino c’è la Cattedrale di Torino…Piazza Castello…Palazzo Reale più Museo .. .Piazza San Carlo…con i suoi Caffè del ‘900. Palazzo Carignano ( Primo Parlamento Italiano 1861) Piazza Vittorio (la più grande) e di fronte la Gran Madre con il Monte dei Cappuccini… Il Museo Egizio il più grande al mondo dopo Cairo…hehehe!!! La Mole Antoneliana ( la Torre Effiel di Torino) prendendo il Museo del l’ascensore ha la bella vista di tutta la Città….al suo interno trovi il Museo del Cinema !!! La Basilica di Superga e il Colle della Maddalena ( Il Faro) Vicino a Torino si trova la “ Reggia della Venaria “ ( la Versalies ) completamente ristrutturato con diversi Musei al suo interno …oggi il più visitato !…accanto il Parco La Mandria riserva di caccia di Vittorio Emanuele II …km. e km di natura per passeggiare a piedi o in biciclette ( le affittano) tra pascoli..cavalli…cascine… Dalla Stazione di Pota Nuova si arriva con il Tram n.4 in 10/15’ Dalla Stazione di Porta Sussa si arriva con il Pulman 49…46 in 10’ Vicino c’è la Stazione Dora con treni che vanno all’aeroporto di Caselle ogni ora. Sono a vostra disposizione Cartine ,Guide…Itinerari della città e della Provincia di Torino e della Regione Piemonte. a poche centinaia di metri anche l'entrata della tangenziale per poter visitare le bellezze della provincia di Torino e del Piemonte. También cerca está la Catedral de Turín, la Piazza Castello ... ... Museo del Palacio Real.. . ... Piazza San Carlo, con sus Cafés del ‘ 900. En los cerros estan La Basílica de Superga y recoriendo la panoramica en la naturalezza de 20 km se llega al Colle della Maddalena ( Eramo - El Faro) A 10 km. esta la “ Reggia di Venaria” que seria el Palacio Real de Venaria (el Versalies) completamente restaurada con varios museos en el interior ...hoy es el más visitado! Alli esta tambièn el Parque La Mandria .. La estancia de caza y del rebaño de Vittorio Emanuele II ... km.y km de naturaleza a pie o en bicicleta (se anquilan) entre el caballo en la pradera ...y granjas de los campesinos ... .. Desde la estación de Porta Nuova se llega a la casa con el tranvía- metro n. 4 en 10’. Desde la estación de Porta Sussa se llega a la casa con el autobús n.49 en 10 ' . Muy cerca se encuentra la estación Dora con trenes que parten y llegan cada hora desde el aeropuerto de Caselle… Turin …Casele….puedo venir a recogerlos a la estaziòn . Los mapas están disponibles, visita guiada de la ciudad ... y la Provincia de Turín y la región del Piamonte. Con el automobil no esta lejos la entrada de la autopista para visitar las bellezas de la provincia de Turín y del Piamonte. Pizzerías de la zona, restaurantes tradicionales Piamonteses y Internacional… ademàs de étnicos (chinos, árabes, peruanos, hindúes) Tiendas de vinos piamonteses d.o.c. (Barolo, Dolcetto.Barbera, Grignolino etc.) Y dulces…el famoso chocolate « Gianduia »! Lucca town is a 10 km/ 6 miles drive away from the house. The distance to Pisa airport is approx. 35 km, whereas Florence city its famous walls enclose a place that can be walked or cycled with ease yet remains full of secrets. Description of the accommodation The Lucca apartment is part of a family residence divided into two parts, each with its own driveway and parking space. The apartment is on the ground floor and has its own large, secluded south-facing terrace immediately adjacent to the olive groves. The accommodation comprises of a good size lounge with sofa and dining areas, leading into a 'living' kitchen with original fireplace from where you can reach the main bedroom and bathroom across a small corridor. The lounge includes a large double pull out bed as well as a settee. The bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, washbasin, bidet and toilet. The large double-bedroom is furnished with wooden interiors. The kitchen is fully fitted.. Bed linen and towels are provided. The Lucca apartment was totally renovated and refurnished during the last winter and all interiors are new and in perfect condition, giving the apartment a fresh and clean feeling. Gas and electricity are at extra cost, we only charge for what you use. Description:The structure The Masseria of the 12 grains is a construction that was fortified in the 18th century. It is situated in the middle of the countryside just outside Minervino di Lecce (a 5 minute walk) 7 kms from the beach and only a 20 minute drive from Otranto. It was once a big farm lived in by the landed gentry, and it included the living accommodation for the farmers, the stables, the fodder and harvest deposits and a snow deposit. The structure- approximately 1000 square meters – is surrounded by an ancient wall with a spacious court – and is named after the 12 underground grains , excavated in the stone , but it was also known as the “farm house of Saint Peter” or the “masseria of the Two Masters”. Our Masseria flat is a nice cottage that offers hospitality to friends or to a family that want to spend time in total tranquillity and have a logistical base from where to visit Salent one of the most original and rich regions of Italy. The hospitality is informal without penalizing comfort and professionalty. It’s like being a friend’s house but at the same time we guarantee the privacy one needs. We particularly want to address to our foreign guests because we are sure they will fall in love of these places and we have organized ourselves in order to welcome you (we speak English, French and Spanish). A bit of history Starting in the XVI century, in all Southern Italy, the “masseria” represented the settlement of the typical large feudal properties: they were the centre of life and of the local agricultural economy and of the centre of relations between the barons and the peasants. In 1744 at the “Catasto of Otranto” – in a land that was particularly exposed to the attacks from Turkish pirates – there were at least 54 masserie, many of which were fortified, as a proof of good defence as well as agricultural production. The farm house of the 12 Grains , with is mysterious underground spaces in order to hide and store the products that were grown on the land, emerged throughout those years and still today represents a fascinating historical testimony of that period. The lands that surround the masseria began to be fractioned and sold at the start of the 19th century by the then owner, the last Basalù baroness, but the agricultural and farming activities have continued and have remained alive until today. People can ski at the top of the mountain whose slopes reach down to the outskirts of the Argento coast. Skiing: the ski slopes are about 10 minutes by car from the farm. In winter there are several kilometers of slopes equipped with two chair lifts and ski lifts. The closest thermal bath (20 minutes by car) is at San Filippo in the area there are thermal baths at Bagni Vignone or San Casciano up to those at Petriolo and Saturnia. Mount Amiata has always been a crossroads of intense spiritual activity thanks to its churches and to the Via Francigena which flanks it in the north. At the beginning of the 19th century it witnessed the rise of David Lazzaretti’s social-Christian community on Mount Labro. At the moment it is home to Merigar, the seat of the Dzogchen Community, one of the biggest Tibetan Buddhist centres in Italy whose monuments attract tourists from all over the world every year.
