Description:600 square feet apartment with a perfect lay out, so it feels bigger. When I'm at home, I love introducing visitors (especially international ones!) to NYC, by having them stay as my guests in my amazing, spacious living room. This room is the best room in the apartment (it accounts for almost 1/2 of the whole space). It's got huge eastern facing windows, so sun floods the space in the morning. If you like waking up to sun, you'll be so happy. The double sofa bed is extremely comfortable it feels like a real bed. (This is where my parents stay when they visit me and my dad has a bad back, so you know it's good!) and you're welcome to leave it set up as a bed the whole time you're here. I also have an air mattress if there are 2 of you but you'd rather not share. My fully equipped kitchen is bright and you're welcome to cook as much as you want, use the staples in the cupboard/fridge. The apartment is always warm in the winter, and can cool down in the summer with the AC in the living room. Great water pressure and bathtub in the bathroom. Wireless/internet included, and my land line phone is free for you to use for all calls in the U.S. Friendly building in Sugar Hill, a terrific part of Harlem this is where the Harlem Renaissance took place. Duke Ellington lived around the corner, and the best jazz club in the city is right down the block. Tons of sight seeing hidden gems in the neighborhood. Super convenient to get anywhere in the city with the subway: 3 minute walk to the A and D express trains (so 15 minutes / 2 stops to midtown!) This is my home, so it's a clean, lived in space with everything you could possibly need on vacation. It's ideal for anyone who wants a great base for a wonderful New York experience.
