The placid waters of the beach facing west make it both a safe place for swimming and a fabulous sunset site. Description:The Old Fort is the only fully restored historic plantation house in St. Vincent and The Grenadines, dating back to when the first French settlers came to the Caribbean in the 18th century. Spacious rooms are special inside as well as out and have impressive 180 degree ocean views southward overlooking all the Grenadine islands, including spoilt Mustique and distant Grenada. The grand pool, with an infinity edge and waterfall, running into a separate smaller pool below, is by far the most spectacular around.
