Situated in Foligno which is known to be the center of the world(Foligno has a very central position in Italy) it's only 20 minutes by car from Assisi, Spoleto, Bevagna, Montefalco, Spello, 30 minutes from Perugia, 1 hour trip from Lago Trasimeno area, Norcia, marble falls in Terni and famous Frassassi caves Foligno is a very important railway junction and there are direct fast trains to Rome(1 hour and a half) and to Florence(about 2 hours), also Assisi, Spoleto, Perugia, Ancona. The railway station is only 10 minutes ride from location. Final cleaning, towels, bed linen and private parking are included in the rate. Description:Cozy apartment in the historical center of Arezz private entrance with little garden, living room with open kitchen, one double bedroom, one small single bedroom, bathroom with shower, WI-FI, TV, Stereo. 1-5 minutes walk to everywhere in town, perfect starting point for visits to Florence (30 min by train), Sienna, Perugia, Assisi, Chianti region, Val d’Orcia and many other destinations in the south of Tuscany and Umbria. I use this apartment sporadically, mostly on the weekends, because I work in Rome. There is stuff inside that shows that I live there (clothing, a few guitars, wine, etc), but of course you'll have the apartment all for yourself. Just one caveat for people who need lots of light: since this is an ancient building the windows are not very large, so don't expect a lot of light inside. Besides, the main bedroom and the bathroom don't have windows, but air circulation is not a problem since there is a powerful fan that sucks fresh air from the outside. We can arrange to pick you up at the airport if you are coming by plane and we are available to help you as much as possible. But the best thing is to rent a car to be able to visit the most possible places around Perugia. There are parking faciities. However there is a bus stop infront of the street and also a bus service to Assisi, Gubbio, etc. In the main street (100 mts. from the flat). The apartment is very comfortable. The location is great and you can find everything nearby. There is a room with a double bed and in the living room there is a sofa you can use as single bed and another convertible single bed.
