The view from the apartment is amazing as your are looking over one of the broadest streets in Rotterdam. Right next door you can find museumpark the Kunsthal designed by Rem Koolhaas is a 2 minute walk. All shops are approximately a 5-10 minute walk and the nicest street in Rotterdam - the Witte de Withstraat - is right around the corner. The apt. is 65m2 in total and I'm letting my bedroom and living room (I will keep my smaller room to stash some stuff) which are 55m2 in total. The bathroom and toilet are separate and there is also a smaller space to stash your stuff. The apt. includes cable and the city's fastest internet, since it's connected to a fiberglass network. Description:The Aldebaran is just in wintertime (half november till the end of March available in Rotterdam! OUR SHIP THE ALDEBARAN The Aldebaran is a traditional sailing vessel (36 Meters long), which is almost 120 years old. We made an comfortable cosy place of the formal cargo hold, with 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, an athmospheric living and a kitchen for 8 till 30 guests. WINTERTIME: ROTTERDAM CENTRE The ship is, from november till april, moored in a very quiet part of the centre of Rotterdam (Stadsdriehoek). The mooring place is near the Maritime Museum and the Harbour Museum, in between a lot of old traditional (museal) ships. GROUPACCOMMODATION The minimum price to rent the ship with a group is € 1125 for 2 nights. This price is based on 2 nights with 15 persons. Each extra person will pay € 50. This is exclusive duvet and towels. It's possible to rent these for € 10 per person/ week. You can make your own breakfast and dinner in the big kitchen. If you want, I will make a delicious breakfast for you for € 10/ person/day. Description:We have accomodation for maximum 4 people at this lovely apartment. I am there sometimes to work during the day. Most of the time the whole apartment is empty and are the guests all on their own. So they can use all the facilities. We have parking availiblity. Location: The apartment is situated right west of the center of Amsterdam, near the famous quarter: De Jordaan and next to the Westerpark. The quarter of the apartment is called: De Staatsliedenbuurt , as all streets are named after famous Dutch statesmen. The De Wittenkade (Quay white) is named after the two brothers de Wit. Availability Your apartment: The estate has approximately 60 apartments. Your apartment is on the ground floor. The entire surface area is about 100m2. It includes two bedrooms, a living room, an open kitchen, a bathroom (with shower and bath) and a toilet. At the back is a terrace next to the communal garden. It is a very nice and quiet spot in Amsterdam. Bicycles and a parking space are available on request. *host occupied space Rates: The normal rate is € 40 per person per night, all included. You can ask after special and seasonal rates at the time you plan your visit. The Staatslieden quarter: There are canals at the front and the back of the building. The one at the back is a busy thoroughfare for ships. Shops and supermarkets are just around the corner. Public transport, e.g. the tramcar, is just a minute s walk away. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the famous Jordaan quarter and about twenty minutes to walk to Dam square, while passing the streets of the Jordaan with its small shops and many restaurants. It is possible to park your car in a locked parking place underneath the building. Bicycles are available, actually they are the nicest and fastest way to explore the city of Amsterdam. . Description:Trendy and light apartment on the 1st floor of a monumental building, built in 1896, in the city centre. The neighbourhood, with its canals and quite streets almost feels like a little village inside the city. It will take a couple minutes by foot to get to Leidsche Square, Rembrandt Square, Museum Square or Vondelpark. The famous neighboorhood De Pijp - known for it's shops, bars and muliticultural restaurants and Albert Cuypmarket - is on walking distance. You can reach the apartment easily by tram from Central Station. It's tram 4, 16, 24 and 25, stops are close to both ends of the street on a 2 minutes walk from the apartment. When you come by car you will make it easy from the highway (A1, A2 and Ring A10) in just a couple of minutes. There's enough parking space in the street, but a daycard costs about € 40, so a better option may be to park your car at the Olympic Stadium and take tram 24 from there. It will cost you only € 6 including the tram-ticket. The entree of the apartment is on the first floor of the building (there's no elavator in the builing, so prepare for some small stairs), which gives access to the livingroom. The bathroom is small, but with a good hot shower and a toilet. The kitchen has a microwave, coffee machine, water boiler, fornace and a refridgerator. Behind the living, you will find the bedroom. There is a double bed and a single bed. The place is perfect for 1-4 guest, but if you want to use it with 6 people its also suits. In that case there are 2 extra matrasses under the beds. The perfect way to explore the city is the typical Dutch way by bike! As an extra service for our guests, we offer the use of 4 bikes for our guests for only €5,- per bike per day.
